United Kingdom | 25 August 2024My golden doodle Ellie was groomed yesterday, she had an absolute ball. The girls are amazingly friendly, great with my full of energy puppy. She always leaves happy, spotless, a huge fluffball and de-shed. She also had ner nails trimmed. I can't recommend this groomer enough.

United Kingdom | 25 August 2024I’ve been going to the groom room for nearly 4 years now, starting at Redditch then now at Solihull. I changed to Solihull as my usual groomer has moved so I followed him. I’d just like to say, although quite expensive at £65 (because I needed a special shampoo and conditioner for my cavapoo’s coat to make it silky) it is by far the best place I’ve taken my pooch for a groom. And that is for a few reasons: 1) FRANK! He is an excellent groomer very very skilled and does a first class job. He really cares for the dogs too. He is by far the greatest asset to The groom room at Pets at home and should get a hefty pay rise for his quality service. Don’t lose him because your other groomers are just average! 2) the place itself is clean and modern (talking about Solihull). And you can see you dog getting groomed. And 3) it’s right on a shopping centre so you can do some shopping ah e a coffee and a bite to eat while you wait. So great place to go thanks to modern facilities and FRANK, truly a quality master groomer and gentleman with 25 + years experience who deserves a commendation and pay rise for being the best asset Solihull groom room has!!!

United Kingdom | 25 August 2024I'll start by saying I had been twice before and had an excellent experience. I was called when my dogs were ready and they looked great. I was between 15 and 20 minutes late, due to traffic works but had messaged ahead to explain and apologised when I arrived at the Groom room. The same person who groomed my dogs previously told me they should be ready around 12. On both occasions previously, I was called when both dogs were ready. I went to a few shops and got back to Pets at Home around 10 to 12. I waited in the car park with my child who has autism and a learning disability. A quarter past 12 came and went without a phone call, half past-still no call. I was feeling guilty at this stage because I'd left the dogs 15 mins late and maybe they were running behind with my dogs because of me being late. I didn't want to seem rude by going into the shop to check on them, but by 10 to 1, I was beginning to worry. I went into the shop and was immediately met upon entering the shop by previously nice groomer telling me I owed an extra 20 pounds because I was late. I asked how, because I was out in the car park waiting for their phone call? They didn't call to say the dogs were ready. She said she didn't have to phone me. I said that's fine but you should have told me you didn't have to call and I'd just have come in ar 12. She said she had told me they would be ready at 12. Her exact words were that they should be ready around 12. There was no mention of not calling. When I questioned why nobody called she said they didn't have to and that they were busy. She told me she had to charge £5 for every 15 mins that I was late, per dog! My dogs hair was still all over the floor at both grooming stations, clearly visible, so if they has finished at 12, and we're busy, surely my dogs hair wouldn't be there. They were also still a bit damp when i put thek into the car, if they had been finished an hour before, they would have been considerably more damp, so were they sitting around for an hour like that? The only other dog present that I could see was black/grey, so it wasn't that dogs fur. I had a voucher for spending anything over 60 pounds, so let the same person scan it. I was charged £128, both dogs had been groomed in the 2 months before, so there was nothing that different to the previous time. I've no idea how it was 128 pounds with a deposit that would have been taken upon booking and the voucher for discount for spending over 60 pounds. I use Pets at Home Sprucefield and Pets at Home Newry. A work colleague who uses Newry Groom Room and recommended it to me said he was shocked because he is always given a rough time for when his dog will be ready and always called when the dog is actually ready. He has never not been called and never heard of a £5 charge for every 16 mins late in collecting your dog especially if nobody had told you, your dog was actually ready. We will certainly not be returning. (There was a missed call from them at 12:56-theyd called as I was walking into the Groom Room)

United Kingdom | 25 August 2024The Groom Room Reedswood Walsall. I will be writing to Head Office. Not impressed at all. Had appointment for 5.30pm. They sold me an extra spa treatment for my frenchie at cost if £10. They told me it would not take long which surprised me. Im paying over £50 for a groom service....so please....do take your time!! By time filled put paperwork my frenchie went in for his groom it was 5.40pm They called me by 5.55pm saying he was finished. An absolute joke. You had him for 15 mins and charged me £62 in total as I'd paid an inital £15 deposit. I should had realised as its the first time my fenchie dragged his feet not to go in there!! When I called up to speak to someone I could hear the dogs squealing in the background and it was horrific. I would never take my dog back there again. Absolute joke of a service it seems like a cattle market just shoving as many appointments in they can with no actual care. Since his visit all he has done is scatch so be warned!!!

From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and took great care of my dog throughout the grooming process. She looked and felt so much better afterward! I’ve already booked her next appointment in eight weeks. The level of care, attention to detail, and professionalism from these two ladies make this the only grooming place I’ll be using from now on. Highly recommend!

United Kingdom | 23 August 2024Absolutely dreadful service. Pets at Home Rotherham. My dog was shaved too short with multiple bald patches on his chest and legs. I didn't notice this at first because they'd put his harness back on which covered the bald patch on his chest. Terrible service. We paid for a full groom which was to include bail clipping as well which they hadn't done. Avoid at all costs

United Kingdom | 23 August 2024I had an appointment scheduled for today, 22/08/24, with Groom Room Wigan. So I went there and To my disappointment, they canceled the appointment the day before, leaving a voicemail from a number that doesn't seem to be registered anywhere online, Given the number of scams these days, I always verify unknown numbers before taking action. I didn’t listened to the voicemail, but this entire experience left a bad taste. To make matters worse, they had previously messaged me on WhatsApp asking if I wanted to cancel my appointment and to give them as much notice as possible if I did. Naturally, I assumed that if they needed to contact me, they would use the same method or at least call from the same number. Instead, they used a completely different, unrecognizable number, which only added to the confusion. Their response? Simply offering to put my name on a waiting list. Unbelievable! Truly amazing customer service... NOT. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider using their services.
