I always use Joanna to groom my dog , at the Durham groom room , I’ve used her for years , she does a great cut , she is very caring and considerate of me and my elderly cockerpoo . Everyone at the groom Room are friendly and caring .

The groomers are always so caring and put the dogs at ease.

My dog indi had her first visit with Zander. He was really good with her listened to my corcerns and dealt with it all in his stride . Indi looked really pretty when he had finished with her . Will be visiting again

They made my dog very welcome and made her feel very settled, she looked amazing and came out happy as ever, they took there time to really understand what we wanted done and made sure we were both happy with the outcome.

Staff always helpful ,approachable and friendly. My dog looked fabulous when I picked him up.He is well known to the Groom Room as he has been there along time.

One star as cannot give 0. Booked online for my 12 week old Shihtzu to have a puppy groom as his hair is long around his eyes and face needed trimming. His vaccines lapted with the breeder so is awaiting his second vaccine. Looked through all terms and conditions and the restriction was 12 weeks of age. Paid the £15 deposit and travelled 19 miles to the nearest store, (38 miles round trip) to be told as he has not had second vaccines he cannot be seen and refused to see him. Refused to refund the deposit as apt was booked despite them refusing the apt when we turned up. Phoned Pets@Home customer services who were very helpful as no where (to date) does it state all dogs must be fully vaccinated, Customer services agreed and advised the store to refund my deposit. Let down by the groom room and does lead me to question their cleanliness and disinfecting polices as the pup should be sat on a clean table? with a clean trimmer so not hard. Need to update their terms and conditions and restrictions on their website!

Natasha did a great job as always with freeway, squeezing him in to her already busy day. I have confidence that Freeway is treated very well in her care, and he always looks great after his groom

My Dog is an elderly Westie and does need a little more understanding these days. I explained all his conditions and his pain over the phone then asked could Groom Room at least bathe him. Appointment made we went yesterday. When I collected him I couldn’t believe what they’d managed to do. Not just a bath, he had the ‘Full works’ he looks great! I can’t thank them enough for their patience with him. I’ve made a second appointment already and I would highly recommend Groom Room to everyone. It’s 5⭐️ from him and a 5⭐️from me. Thank you so much a fantastic job with a sensitive senior you’re brilliant.

I take my 3 year old cockapoo for a groom every 8 weeks and this week my 6 month old puppy also had his 2nd groom, 1st haircut. My little boy has had all his fluffy puppy fur cut off and came out looking beautiful! They always do a lovely job at The Groom Room, Durham.

Fabulous staff member who looked after my ‘sensitive’ boy. He looked and smelt amazing. They are so kind and patient with all their dogs. Fabulous service.

Our dog is always nervous, but the staff always pet her and speak calmly to her. I trust them to do a good job, and have not ever been disappointed. Our dog always looks lovely and staff have listened to what we would like done. I really am grateful and happy to leave our dog with the ladies at HW store
