Stay away any trademans its a lock in scam to get hard working trades to loose the monthky paycheck. Dont do the free trial stay well away. Do not recommend even there hr department over speaking not hearing what the issues im bringing up, just no care just after that shut up and pay your monthly fees.

I have used Hipages several time to find tradesmen. They have always given me the best results and I have used each time at least one of the tradesmen that they have listed. This time i required a stump grinder and Hi pages were able to find me 3 tree stump grinder tradespeople. I used Tom from Heartwood trees who responded and carried out the job at a very reasonable rate. I am very happy with Hipages. They are easy to deal with and very polite. I highly recommend Hipages

Hi pages provided us the BEST fencing contractor. Samson Fencing from Boronia built us the best quality Colorbond fence over 89m long. Sam had quality in mind such as two bags of cement for each post, heavy base boards and a little extra height for no added cost. He used an excellent work crew that were conscientious and friendly, tidying up as they went. Their number FYI 0407 334 327.

DO NOT USE! ZERO STARS! We used Hipages to hire a plumber to install a tap last December and it was a nightmare. We asked the plumber to refund the deposit as we organised another plumber. The Hipages plumber disregarded our message, turned up to our property while we were away and dug up our front yard. We asked Hipages for resolution on the matter of trespassing on our property and damage and their reply was that they couldn't enforce any action as they are only a service provider... If you are in a similar situation, go to VCAT.

When I made the contract, they said I could cancel within 7 days, and this is clearly written on their website. On the 2nd day, I wanted to cancel Hipages because I did not like the system, but they do not cancel, they say they will come back after 5 days. They are stalling me so that the cancellation period expires. Every officer I talk to on the phone says they cannot make the cancellation. They don't tell me who I need to talk to to cancel. When you become a member, they send you jobs whose existence is unknown. They say that if you view one of these, you are now using the system and cannot cancel it. Even if you don't do the job or even make an offer, they do this just because you're looking. The purpose of doing this is to prevent you from canceling anyway. I will report fraud to the bank, have my card closed and take it to court.

It is great to enter a job that you need help with and almost instantly get people who will quote or come out and look at the job to give a quote.

I had the three calls in a very quick time and have made arrangements for the job.

I did end up with three quotes but the site was frustrating and theres no feedback from clients of those who are quoting - I want to see a star rating system. As soon as you post your ad you INSTANTLY get 3 responses meaning they couldn't possibly have read the ad. This means that you get 2 to 3 quotes from tradies who then call or text to ask what the job is! My job required special certification. 2 of the 3 didn't have it so couldn't do the job - what a waste of time. So I got one decent quote, then google to find some others and easily got 2 more. I don't think I'll bother with Hipages again - I'll Google as it was faster in the end.

Put out for an Electrician received 2 call backs and went with RAV Electrical from the start Matt was very helpful i was not rushed in explaining what i needed time and day set Matt was phoning and texting me to say he was running late and apologised .When he arrived he was courteas very friendly and helpful .Ihave already arranged my next job.Thanks Matt great service
