United Kingdom | 11 July 2020Nearly got it right, but... This is, unfortunately, a disappointing truth about the management of a growing and extremely important social housing supplier. My, (our) experience is thus; we moved into a good property, yet it was a worse than blank canvas. The interior of the property needed lots of care and repair to make it into a desirable dwelling. The outside, surrounding garden and borders had been neglected and even abused by previous tennants. It was overgrown, used as a dumping ground and due to the death of one of the last tenants and demise of the surviving spouse, the outbuildings were left for us to agree to clear away when they no longer served our needs but definitely before we vacated the premises. After we had improved the bungalow and got on with making it our home, we got into making the outside enjoyable and worthy of a proud place in the local community. We invested loads of time, money and sheer graft into the rear garden. We pulled out overgrown and un-functional hedging and overgrown borders between us and other flagship neighbour's, always involving them in our plans to ensure not offending them. We then put in new fencing, incorporating a new garden shed and decking with new turf and enclosed flower borders. At this point you would say, "where's the rub?" , well, flagship proudly post their policies; ethics, environmental and other procedures in their web pages. They believe they are environmentally friendly and to a great extent they are. However, when housing officers are so dogmatic about company practices, they may lack the foresight to consider whether allowing improvements made to a property are worth keeping and allowing the next or succeeding tenants to use the property and thereby save the waste of functional material that would end up in our already overused waste management sites.

During this time if and when I have had need of any sort of repair, they have been done quickly and to a high standard. All the RTF team have been respectful. When my husband became ill, and he was ill for a long time with cancer, any issues with the heating were resolved quickly as an emergency call out. In the past when I experienced difficulty in paying the rent and service charges, Flagship were understanding and helped me through the difficulty. I have no complaints at all.

United Kingdom | 16 June 2020We put in for a exchange in January along came covid 19 and it was stopped and the goverment have said it can now be done flagship say no covid 19 they are now using covid 19 as an excuse for not working we have had to put all our packed boxes into storage which we can not afford to do just so they dont have to work

United Kingdom | 24 May 2020Lived in a flagship property for 6 years and had nothing but trouble! First the mould windows to be told there my fault! The my balcony door leeking and having to rip up my carpet due to them not doing anything about it, the crappy storage heaters I have don't work and smoke when you attempt to put them on! I had a leak coming from my boiler was told one week for the part and to keep a bucket under it after 9 months of canceled appointments and then turning up while I was at work ( when I clearly told them the days I can't do) they finally came to fix it to realise my whole hall way needed replacing and stripping right bak to the joists! I've had issues with neighbors and drugs and NOTHING has been done by either flagship or the anti social people that work for flagship! I'm now having an issuing with no hot water and having to bath my 3 young children under 5 ( one of who is a Sen child) in the sink and washing myself and my hair with a boiled kettle in the sink! I have been told that nobody can come any time soon due to NOT being and emergency! Would absolutely not recommended using this landlord and I cannot bloody wait to get out of the horrid place!
