I keep receiving messages from this people for some time now that I own money to mobile phone provider. They threatened sometimes.every message increase for some money amount. Contacted mobile phone provider last week. I don't have a broadband for which they asking to be paid outstanding debt. Will go to CBA in few days when have day of... But before CBA any advice how to get rid of this people please? Thank you in advance

Stopping the pressure overload of phone calls would be a start. It is old fashioned and frankly ineffective. I notice also they have an awful lot of 1 Star reviews.

I spoke to a DRS representative called Joe. I'm not in the best of health at the moment but found Joe to be very polite, helpful and very professional. All in all having to deal with such matters aren't the most pleasant Joe made the whole experience much easier. Thank you Joe.

This company was given a debt but apparently closed my case in November 2023 to pass the debt back on to original creditor, without informing me. Didn’t stop them from accepting money from my Debt Management Plan that was set up the beginning of this year, never told the DMP that the debt was closed on their end. Told me over the phone that despite the account being closed, they have been paying the original debtor the money they received every month, yet the original debtor has no record of these payments. Also said they did tell my DMP that the account was closed, which the DMP have no record of, but were still happy to be accepting the money monthly rather than sending it back, contacting the. DMP or myself to inform us of the closed account. When asked for a statement of accounts to prove the information they are saying, was told I would be passed onto the correct team, yet my call was terminated. I’m only aware of what’s happened when I received a text saying my debt has been passed on to a new company, without that text I’d still be paying my DMP, who would still be paying DRS yet my debt wasn’t being paid off, rather pocketed by DRS by the looks of things.
