SCAM! DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE PEOPLE! They have sent me quite an official looking letter, pretending to be Vodafone, which is scary, saying they are transferring my debt to these Ardent people. They are trying to get me to pay the fairly innocuous amount of £33.1 (which is how I spotted it might be fake) for a mobile phone I clearly don't have! Slightly annoyed that maybe Vodafone might have sold my info to these guys. Good job I checked it out properly first and knew I pay by direct debit.

Harassed via phone and email for a £50 debt which I didn’t owe. Have reported both Ardent and Admiral insurance to the financial ombudsman for their disgraceful behaviour. I am assuming that harassing more vulnerable members of society is a lucrative business model.

Was initially receiving text messages from them telling me to pay direct to the website link but never says how much I owe them. After a month I got an email saying I owe ebay £42. I have not used my account for a long time. Looking through the many reviews, I am not paying. Website looks very dodgy. Never give our your information to them or else they are ill keep harassing you! Some people have been contacted in their emails despite them being dead already. Bank has confirmed their bank account does not exist. I am not paying anything and will be blocking them.

On an unused phone that never gets messages, I received a debt scam text, and traced it to this company Ardent credit. There is a link that asks you to "download" some letter and asks sensitive security questions. Deliberately supply fake answers and I get this message: "We can't find your details. To discuss your account, please contact us on: Phone: 0151 545 1500 Web: www. ardentcredit .co .uk/contact"

Chose not to renew my Admiral Insurance policy once it expired. Received communication from Admiral confirming my non-renewal. One month later, i receive texts, letters and e-mails all within a WEEKEND window (i.e. i could not speak to anyone even if i wanted to! Automated payment was the only option available) from Ardent Credit debt collectors threatening that if i don't make immediate payment i will suffer repeating 35% penalty charges. Scum bag behaviour from both Admiral and Ardent. How can it be legal to act as a debt collector, harassing and threatening someone else's customer without so much as A) checking the debt exists, B) Confirming the customer has received any communication about the debt - you know like an INVOICE that even the dodgiest builders can manage to raise! C) Not be warned that the debt would be passed onto to debt collection agencies. No, instead you'll just push your luck and pray on the vulnerable like the scum of the Earth, just like all scammers do.

This company sent an email to my deceased mother in laws email account the week of the first anniversary of her death, claiming she owed them £45 for a debt to Admiral insurance and if she did not pay immediately they would keep adding £15 to the debt. I couldn’t understand why Admiral wanted money as they had actually reimbursed an over payment to us when we closed her insurance. They wanted the payment to go into a HSBC account to we rang HSBC and the account the email quoted is NOT one of their accounts and advised us it was a scam. DONT PAY THEM !!!!!

These people demanded £37.25 that I supposedly owed eBay; however, when eBay contacted me, they were requesting £29.25 before the 'debt' was passed onto these people. When I read their email, the additional £8 was for 'late payment fees'. I did not pay eBay because they were demanding money that I did not owe them. I can’t believe that eBay passed such a minor 'debt' to a debt collector, and that I was harassed by Ardent Credit for an additional £8. These people are just a bunch of parasites who take pride in banking on people's misfortune, so that they can harass them to pay their debt, but in my case, non-existent dept.

Just spoke with an agent in regard to arrears that have been passed to them and from my personal experience it was really good. The agent was soo lovely! She was empathetic, understanding, polite, happy, helpful, reassuring, informative… all the good stuff! People need to remember the debt has been passed to them so there’s no point in just calling up and going mental, it’s not them that created the debt. You get out the energy you put in a lot of the time in this world so be polite and I’m sure they’ll return the favour. I’ve got a return call in 7 days so if there is any change I will update but so far it’s been really good and I have no complaints.

I am being harassed by Ardent Credit. My computer's security say they are a scam and I am being asked for £30.83 that I owe to Klarna. Klarna said they know the name but advised me not to pay anything. I also emailed Ardent saying my computer saysit is a scam. SCAMMERS

Getting harrased daily with emails / text messages claiming I 'owe' money to EBAY UK - but of course, they say don't settle it with ebay, just pay us. Funny as I checked with EBAY who confirmed I don't owe them anything. So basically - F*** off, you scouse w**kers.

Ardent pursued me over a non existent debt caused by their clients error. The agent I spoke to on the phone tried to twist my word so I felt obliged to pay. Even after being told the "debt" was nonexistent they continued to use contentious language saying the debt had been withdrawn. It had never existed. These people are basically vermin whose only goal is to get money in by hook or by crook. Even when they're told the facts they can't moderate the aggressive tone of their communications. I pity any honest person who has to deal with Fagin and Scrooge rolled into one and 1000 times worse. They are a detriment to honest people

I owe Klarna a whole £7 and due to them refusing to give me any option to pay because I won't give them my passport details (I don't have one and why do I need one to pay £7?) I decided to just not bother paying. The debt was passed to these people really quickly and I was forced to block theor numbers and through my email because they will call, text and email every single day demanding payment. At this point I'm not paying out of spite.

Absolutely abhorent company, serious lack of communication between themselves and the companies they service. THEY NEED SHUTTING DOWN, harassing my elderly mother if it carries on I will be suing Ardent. So take heed.
