Love it, what a simple, nifty little thing. I used LastPass and 1Password (latter being the choice forever!). But Bitwarden came as a fresh, indie option and I love everything about it. Non intrusive, and manages to strike the right balance between being helpful when tryting to fill forms and not pretty much blocking my view like some others do.

I had to contact Bitwarden, and the conversation with the Support was surprisingly fast and helpful. They explained everything carefully to me, answered all of my questions and where able to help me with my issue in less than one hour. The costumer support is friendly and transparent. The Password Manager itself, the product of Bitwarden is User-friendly, well designed and the things you get for the price is more than fair in my honest opinion.

I've been using Bitwarden for roughly 2 Years and a few months now and it has been exactly like I expected. It works, it does its job and the yearly subscription is affordable ($10.00). It's been a way better experience than LastPass, who was my previous password manager. I recommend it for anyone who wants to start with a new password manager that is reliable and just works.

Sehr guter Passwort-Manager.

Bravi, bravissimi!!!

The free model gives you all you need for personal usage; if that is not enough, you can get a premium for 10$ a year, super cheap.

Open Source und gut. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Eintragung ist etwas aufwändiger als bei Alternativen.

Bitwarden gives me everything I want. From Browser-Addons integrations and easy to use fill-ins to the support of my Yubikey and of best of all things, it is open source. For me, it is superior to every other PW-manager. Ontop you can check your overall security with build-in features. In general, a great product, worth it $10 a year for premium!

I use Bitwarden daily. Bitwarden is not only free but also open source and provides essential and advanced security. The premium option is also very well priced and I love what they are doing with their software for organisations.

This company is fairly new entrant in the digital credential space. Don't let that dissuade you. While not as polished as other offerings, it gets the job done and provides the basics - a way to store all your creds securely and also generate randm strong passphrases and passwords. Best of all THEY SUPPORT THEIR PRODUCT. You can contact them and actually get a response in a reasonable period of time. They even accept feedback (good and bad) on how to improve their interface/feature set. While their free product will probably meet most people's needs, the individual supported version only runs $10 a year currently which compared to the competition is a steal. They support all the major browsers in Windows/Mac and mobile devices. From where I stand, you can use their product and know it will be supported. For a credential manager, this is pretty critical.

I've been using Bitwarden for a couple of years. After trying a few alternatives and not being enthused I tried Bitwarden. It does what I want, without the over-complication and extra "features" of some alternatives. After a few months I paid the US$10 annual fee, for the extra features and to help support a great bit of software. Bitwarden makes my credentials available on my phone and computers without fuss. My accounts have individual long and complicated passwords. I would never be able to remember even one of them, let alone remember hundreds. Who could remember a hard to crack password like L#oKm%QUhqD25s7@$DV^ for each of their sites? With individual passwords, compromise of one password by a website, which is not uncommon, would not allow access to anything else. Paid Bitwarden has comprehensive reports on exposed passwords, free Bitwarden has the useful Data Breach report. Passwords sync without hassle. I got a new phone and laptop recently and it was easy to get them sharing passwords. Unlike some others, the free version has no limitation on the number of credentials you can store. It is fine for many people, but if you want to use security keys to unlock your password vault then the bargain US$10 a year is well worth it. If you're still using a few variations of the name of your cat and your street name (or whatever) stop now, go to Bitwarden and see an easier and safer way of handling passwords.

This product is very stable and mostly intuitive. The personal premium is only $10/yr which is unusually inexpensive for a product requiring constant updating and monitoring. The paltry annual premium fee may actually distract from the quality and integrity of the app. I would recommend increasing the annual fee and offering additional features like increasing the number of SHARED PEOPLE within ORGANIZATIONS

I have used it as an alternative to another password manager that had started charging money for using it on both mobile and web, so a quick search brought me to Bitwarden. I was able to export from the other manager and import here so it was a seamless transition. And it is very professional and user friendly, even better than what I had before and it's still free. Hope they keep up the good work!

Was a use of lastpass until they started f-ing up. Got wind of bitwarden and made the switch. Super easy transition and their software is so much better it's not even funny. I wish I'd made the switch much sooner. Very happy.

Hey 🙂 I'm lead dev at a small studio where we make games, websites, some small apps, etc. We use a lot of programs, a lot of accounts, etc. Nothing new really, who doesn't? We looked into password managers a lot in the past few years. We tried a few, BitDefender's Vault, the one from Norton, LastPass, KeyPass (?) and settled with Bitwarden. It has everything we need: * it's cross platform * works with biometrics on phone and laptops * can host files, such as images * has support for organizations * it's free or super cheap if you need more features (like the file hosting). We're extremely happy with Bitwarden. It works online and offline too, it's Open Source, and constantly under audit from renowned companies.
