Took out annual insurance policy. Declared pre existing ailments. Began investigations for new illness just after Christmas. Declared these and was told my policy was invalid. I had hoped to be able to pay extra for cover but was bluntly told I could have a refund for months remaining on policy or claim for cancellation of holiday due to go on the following week. Customer care nil, I reluctantly took refund. Now can't get cover for even pre existing conditions which were covered. Insurance companies win win, customers lose, lose!

Having been with this Travel Insurer before I found it to be one of the cheapest for Cruises. Completing the on line Medical questions was straight forward. Dealing with an agent on the phone I found it difficult due to the accent.

The experience was of applying was straightforward as such. I believe i have everything i need. I do feel that at the his stage this is five stars for just the application process. Travel Insurance: It's sometimes like the Spanish Inquisition. Not so with "goodtogoinsurance". Naturately they want to know about your health and medication, your mobility and ability to travel, but the questions flowed easily and we knew that openess and clarity is important. Everything was well explained, politely and when the prices (depending upon level of cover) were revealed, my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised. We took Multi Trip world wide travel for a year. We are in our mid 70's and have what we believe are general conditions for people in our age group that can walk, have a little cholesterol and slightly raised blood pressure. We are able to do most things, perhaps a bit slower than 10 years ago. Give them a try. We took the Silver Package. Enough for us and very happy.
