Just a quick update about my previous post. Within the same day of my previous review of this company they immediately blocked my account and requested me to provide another bank statements (which I have dutifully provided on 2 separate occasions previously). This time they even want my national insurance number and passport, also requested partner's bank statement, all of which has nothing to do with them. I refused to comply due to GDPR reasons and they closed my account shortly and confiscated my assets and all remaining balance. This company is in a very bad financial situation and they will see your assets as bargaining chips. They sent me an email today and closed my account without explaining what happened to my GOLD deposit. I would stay away from this scam, you have been warned! ⚠️

Everything was fine, the site seemed to work well and was easy to use until I tried to add a card. They did not seem to be able to verify the first 3 cards. All cards I use often. The 4th card was verified. I tried to call support for help but their hours are very short. Fortunately, I am a crypto person. I have learned to be patient when using technology.

About a month ago I made an account and followed the instructions pertaining, my address was incorrect on my ID as I just moved so I fixed that and tried again and the account was closed, they couldn't tell me a reason which I thought was odd but encouraged me to try again. 3 times I did everything to the T and still they closed my account. When "Ella" would return my emails its always the same old story. They don't know why my account wasn't verified which I found ridiculous! We are trusting them with our private information and our money and they can't tell us a simple detail? Finally, asking yet again and kindly I may add the 3rd time I received an email stating they are choosing not to do business with me. Again, no reason other than they don't know why. Stay away from this ridiculous company! Too many Red Flags for lack of education and competence.

The overall experience was great. The app and top up feature are easy to use. I do wish the fees were a little bit lower but that aside, Glint has a great investment tool with the app. Very happy so far.

It was very easy to sign up and buy gold. Even though I had not purchased much gold it is still a good experience and I’m continuously monitoring what’s going on and will purchase more once I get used to the app.

This company has been a life changer for me especially when travelling from the USA to anywhere in the UK and the EU. I have used Glint at all bank ATMs as well as in making purchases. The security knowing my money is backed by real allocated gold instead of a fractional reserve at a bank gives me the confidence in what this company does. Safety/Security/Confidence. Also, their team has been very responsive to me whenever I need to speak with someone. This company is far superior and they do what they say.
