Avoid this company at all costs they are a terrible company to deal with my son was messed about constantly. Don't be fooled there is nothing intensive about the courses they offer. Its just a very expensive way to book lessons and test, would be much better off just using a driving instructor and booking tests yourself. My son had his training cancelled twice we booked in August 2021 he didn't have any training until January 2022 then his test wasn't until March.... 10 weeks between training and test is ridiculously long and not at all intensive. I know there are long waits because of covid but they didn't mention it when we booked all they are interested in is taking your deposit they couldn't care less if there students passed or failed.

Paid for a intensive one week 18 hour driving course in August 2021, had to wait till the first week of January to start my lessons, company blamed covid (fair enough) was told that "no test had been booked for the week of my lessons but, cancellations come up all the time and I shouldn't have to wait for more than a week" My test has now been booked for "sometime In June 2022" I phoned to complain, no apology, and the conversation about cancellations coming up all the time was denied that it ever happened I was told to "check the small print" as there is no guarantee on when your test will be I asked for a refund and was told I could have £62 back but would have to chase the instructor for the rest, I paid £800 for this awful service and am no closer to having a licence The only positive I can say was the instructor I had was really good PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND FIND ANOTHER INTENSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL In response to the company's response I don't think nearly 4 months is shortly after my course week

Absolute Con artists... would not advise dealing with this company to anyone, besides the disgusting attitude received from their incompetent staff. Their lack of communication has caused my test date to be changed on 3 occasions, the most recent I was notified for last Friday and was booked for 09/02/22 giving me only 5 days notice alongside an instructor who couldn’t abide to the date. I’ve received a repeated statement in each email and phone call from them for their justification of not refunding me and which I have answered too and I’ve been met with consistent stupidity all the way along. Currently £200 down, stuck with a driving test thats been booked in cardiff at the end of May with no instructor or any communication provided even though my initial test was booked for February 16th and planned with an instructor that they provided. Avoid Like the Plague!!!

I booked a course of lessons with this company. I had to schedule it for several months ahead due to the current high demand for driving lessons. Fair enough. But less than one month before my lessons should have started the company contacted me to tell me they had cancelled my lessons due to a lack of instructors in my area. Now I have to book again with someone else and start the waiting period of several months all over again!

Easy to book with and good communication during the booking process. The theory test booking was smooth as well and the study material helpful. As some of the other reviews state, you do have to be a bit flexible with the practical test date (or with the test location) as bookings are quite difficult to get at the moment. I was instructed by Darren, he was patient, professional and thorough. The one week intensive course suited me as I could focus on it for the week and take time off work. I passed my practical on the first time with only two minors, so a good result all up!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! UTTER DISGRACE. I booked my course for Feb this year and due to COVID it got cancelled (fair enough). I was then given another test date for July but heard sod all from the instructor about getting in 48 hours worth of lessons. 9 WHOLE MONTHS later I was all booked in so took 2 weeks leave from work. On their website they lie and say the test is booked for final day of the course which is funny as mine got booked in a whole month later! My instructor contacted me to say my test was booked for Tuesday 16th November so we had to do lessons on a weekend which again according to the website lessons are usually MON-THURS so I had to cancel plans and do extra hours on weekdays because the test had been booked in too early so had no choice. I started on the Sunday and all was ok so I forgot how s**t they had been because my instructor was nice so I let it go. My instructor was late every single day and then 4 days in he cancelled my lesson 10 mins before I was due to start because apparently he had to wait for a breakdown provider. 10 mins later I had to call him and it turns out he made a 'mistake' and realised my test was in for December 16th! UNPROFESSIONAL OR WHAT? I was furious as I had taken 2 weeks leave and my workplace is not at all flexible. I then was offered a cancellation date for a completely different area to where I live which I was unhappy with when I am paying £1600 for this course and I was unable to be flexible with dates anyway! In the end I had to cancel and the instructor agreed to pay back £800. I am in the process of writing a complaint to the company for my deposit as I expect it to be refunded and if it isn't I will be going to small claims court. Overall absolutely shocking service, company just want your money, total scam. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Please do not use this company. Do not waste your time, energy or money on them. I booked a week driving course for May. Received a confirmation receipt email saying my test will be on one of the last days of that week. So I booked the whole week off work. It was getting closer to the week and I hadn’t heard about my test date so I emailed them and they said that they’re still searching for one… Cut a long story short, they never got me a test. I completed 2/3 of my lessons during that week (took a whole week off work for nothing) and they said that I would hear from them soon with my test date. I didn’t hear for ages, I chased them and chased them and I kept getting ignored and then was told I should’ve used my common sense and not booked an intense driving course at the moment… After chasing for so long, they said I’ve got a test in October. So I did most of my lessons in May and they got me a test 5 months later? Is that really a ‘one week intense driving course’, because I don’t think it is. I asked for a few complimentary extra hours before I took my test due to the inconvenience and got ignored multiple times. I took my test in October and unfortunately failed… wasn’t really a surprise though after such a long time of not driving at all. There was no way I was using this company again to find me another test so I found another one… who managed to find me a cancellation test for 4 weeks later. This company constantly said they look for cancellations every 2 minutes for me… but clearly not because how did it take 5 months and it took another company less than 4 weeks? I could keep going on but overall, their customer service is terrible, they’re rude, they steal your money and completely disregard everything they promise in their terms&conditions. Do not use.

This place is an absolute joke. The only good thing is that my instructor has been really helpful. They decided to not tell me when a test had been booked at all - and then moved my test without checking if the instructor could do the date. Zero consideration for anyone but making their money. They state they weren’t informed however I sent a message through their portal months ago. Had they informed me and COMMUNICATED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER I could have made arrangements for the earlier test date. But no, they decided not to communicate and completely ruin my driving experience and I’m now left an anxious mess with no idea when my test will be. Stand by what I said. An absolute joke.

Unfortunately, the great instructor I had (Rob), has been overshadowed by One Week Driving not informing you about extremely relevant mask rules which lead to my test being cancelled without a refund or re-booking. A great instructor overshadowed by a critical lack of important information and terrible customer support.

Appalling service, avoid at all costs!! the courses are cancelled last minute, whilst they've been sitting on your deposit for 3 months. Should not be allowed to operate, have spoken to someone who assures me that we will receive a refund, I will update this post once received.

I had booked onto one of their courses over 3 months in advance. Three weeks before I was due to start the course, I emailed to ask why I no longer had an instructor assigned, as I previously had one assigned. The reply I received was along the lines of “we had to remove the instructor we assigned to you and we can’t find you an instructor. Would you like to wait an extra three months or would you like a refund?” If I hadn’t have asked about my instructor, they wouldn’t have told me. With such short notice, I was unable to book anywhere else within the only time frame where I could complete my driving. Absolutely appalling communication would definitely avoid this company.

Waste of money gave me an instructor who couldn't be bothered teaching me didn't want to do sat nav, local routes , even stopping to the side of the road and then when I had a test at 8 in the morning she was late I rang her and she was still in bed so yeh waste of money

Arranged many months ago for my daughter who planned her intensive course returning from University overseas. We get notified with very short notice that could not find an instructor. It also turns out that the test was never booked for the last hour or even the last day of her course, or even in the same town that her course would have been. Read the many reviews like this and DO NOT USE THEM.

AVOID!!! Shocking company. Allocated us a useless driving instructor who failed to turn up for lessons or maintain positive communications. Company has only refunded us in part, still waiting on the rest of our money. We had to cancel our test date with DVSA, the refund was sent back to oneweekdrivingschool.co.uk and they are saying that we are not having it back because we should have changed the test date and not cancelled it! Money greedy company. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Took a 5 day 30 hours course. The office book everything and very quickly, it is a very easy process The instructor was very patient with me and I passed first time. I highly recommend this company and the intensive course, the nature of the course helps not to think as your driving everyday and don’t forget things that you would forget weekly. It also took the pressure off taking the test, I didn’t have the time to work

Now that lockdown has ended again and driving tests are becoming available again I advise people NOT TO ARRANGE ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. They will sell you a week's intensive course with a test at the end but will then tell you, AFTER YOU HAVE PAID YOUR DEPOSIT, that they can't actually give you a course with a test at the end. When you inevitably ask for your money back they'll tell you it is simply 'non-refundable'. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
