Terrible company - please avoid, not even sure what they do but have told them due to private issues and covid I can't complete my remaining hours. Said they told me before I paid that there's no refunds, there is zero documentation saying this so they have just straight taken my money for nothing in return. Do avoid. They acknowledge I have 12 hours left but refuse to refund them even though I am unable to complete them, not due to failing as I actually passed my theory as they well know. I also never said it's because I don't think I'd pass and they have this on email! "Hi there, I emailed one of your representatives who has been very unhelpful. I explained that I need to cancel my test booking and everything etc. as due to Covid I'm having to move back to London to care for someone. I appreciate the lockdown is out of your hands though I'm now not able to do my hours or a test as I'll have to be isolating for an unknown amount of time. I paid you guys to arrange my hours and tests and now that I'm asking for help you don't reply. Please look to resolve this ASAP." Unable to read as you can see in their reply.

Words fail me. My son paid a deposit of £380 for an intensive course in September 2020. It has since been cancelled 3 times due to covid , obviously this is expected however not my sons fault. My son is in the Navy and has now been posted away for 8 months, I telephoned and explained this and requested a refund. I got a repeated answer of "our policy states no refund on deposits". I understand that every company needs a policy for refunds, but companies also need to use their discretion in circumstances beyond our control. The government have set out guidelines about deposits being refunded due to the virus its such a shame in this terrible time that this company are obviously not taking these guidelines. I am now having to go down the trading standards route as this company do not see reason. In your reply which you also fail to mentioned you do not cover the area he will be coming back into. too add he is based at Portsmouth his home is in Lincolnshire which on the website is a place that is NOT covered and proof could be sent if the business owner was interested but he obviously isnt

What an incredibly disorganised and frustrating experience you have provided. You have already cancelled and changed instructor once, and now have left it until a week before it is due to commence to notify me of a mistake on your part, despite the booking being made over 3 months ago. It will now be too late for me to I put other arrangements in place as I have to work around the school holidays

Following the reply: Please take the time to read as I have already mentioned the reason for my late reply. Also, how would this be relevant to my issue? The fact that I write a late review has nothing to do with the fact that you don't offer the service you are getting paid for, either making me feel better about the whole experience. And just to make it clear: you couldn't provide the promise service, which was an instructor for the period I needed so I have asked for refund. I have mentioned all the details before doing the payment. You are lucky I have only wrote a review. That is a cheap price to pay for the way I have been treated by your customer service, not mentioning the actual issue with the instructor. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I am not going to argue about this anymore. There are so many reviews here specifically mentioning the customer service hanging up on other clients, just like it happened to me. There are also reviews about making the rules as you go along. It is my right to write my experience as complaning didn't solve my issues. Please prove yourself professional and accept you messed this up. That is what a good company will do, apologise and move on. You definitely prefer to argue with customers instead of looking to see if there is something wrong with your staff and procedures. I call this a joke. No matter how desperate are you, do not book with them. They are not reliable. No communication between you, the company and the instructors. I would rate 0 if I could. More details to follow. Update: I actually just now seen the reply. I have asked for my money back because when I wanted to book I have mentioned my Theory will expire on the 10th of December and the test was booked by myself a few days prior to that. I have been reassured that there is an instructor available so I have made the payment. The instructor called, we had a chat (he was very happy I was not Russian). I have explained everything and he said he needs to find out if he can help me with the test date, as he was not sure if he is free. He then said he will call me the next day to confirm, which was much appreciated as I would've have to find another school or driving Instructor, so time was at the essence. He message me at 10pm on the day I called the company raising my concerns (yes, I had to call because he never came back to let me know and because I was running out of time , I chase this ). I am not sure if that was part of the plan to let the time pass so I will have the lessons on different dates but he said he cannot do it, as he is having a test or a lesson with someone else (which I am sure the company knew about). I have called him after reading this and he proposed to change the test date. I have told him this will be impossible because my theory is expiring a few days later (covid19 was the reason I got into this situation). The instructor then said to call the company. Next day, I have called and they said that they cannot help me as they don't have another instructor and I said I will then need a refund. Wouldn't anyone ask for a refund in this case?! There has been quite a few calls to them as they hang up on me multiple times and even pretend they don't understand my English. I have been working in Education ever since I moved to England, I am sure my English is not perfect but it is fine, no one complained before about this or had trouble understanding me. THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Yes, this was the first time I felt treated differently. They agreed in the end to a partial refund as the company rules say they have an "admin fee" (which I was not made aware at the time of the payment).I was not ok with this because I have made myself clear of my needs and they failed to provide the service I paid for. Not to mention this happened over a few days, days that I had to waste trying to get my money back instead of spending the time to try to find another instructor. If you need proof of how rude they are just look of how they address to their customers: "this lady". Thank you sir, but I do have a name. I am just really sorry I have not recorded the phone calls and take this further. You are, in my opinion, scammed me. Fortunately, I did found another company and another instructor after this very upsetting and stressful situation that they caused. I think you should be more careful when hiring. He was definitely xenophobic and the conversation about how happy he was for not being Russian was quite odd. And just to mention, that was not the reason I didn't want to have any lessons with him as I do not care about other people's beliefs. The reason was, both the company and the instructor have made a promise: the company to provide an instructor for my dates and the instructor to call me next day so I know if I should keep looking or not. The worst customer service ever.

absolute shambles of a company. Paid my deposit and booked a course which was changed weekly. No test booked then the instructor wanted me to do driving hours without even having a test booked which I refused. Got a test booked which the instructor refused to take me for as she didn't want to wake up that early asked for a new one which was refused safe to say I cancelled and wanting a refund which one week will not respond to my emails the company is an nightmare to deal with this company also thinks its OK to breach data protection and waits 2 weeks before my new test with my own instructor to log on using my details and cancelled my driving test what gives you this right I got a refund of 92 leaving you with 63 the money to cover my already booked test you changed my details on the dvsa to ur contact details and email ! Then email me after saying you have cancelled my driving test that wasnt even through your company 🙃 but thats OK you can wait for ur refund now im left waiting till December for another test !

Please read this before thinking about using them. My son paid £1080 for a weeks course 30 hours after his 23rd hour the instructor stated he owed £70 for a tyre, when I complained to the instructor and asked him to provide writing proof of my son signing anything that stated this he backed down however I also stated that my son has no faith in him anymore and would like a refund of £252 he agreed to £175 as he stated that he was paid £750 for the 30 hours. So the web site took £330 for arranging this poor performance and then when questioned wash their hands of all responsibility. This is borderline fraud in my eyes what other responsibilities are they ignoring? In your own interest avoid like the plague. I won’t be changing this review you have made your statement and hid behind your policies. I hope karma comes around soon

I took this course one year ago, the driving instructor was changed, which was fine as the man I was originally meant to learn with no longer worked for the company. The new instructer I was given already had a number of students so was rushing to fit me in (luckily I had taken 2 weeks of work) otherwise this would have been impractical. My issue is that I was assured by the company that they are qualified to teach people with SPLDs. This appeared not to be the case as the instructor I was with was extremely impatient and often shouted at me. There was a complete lack of support towards being a new driver and as a result gave me extreme anxiety to be in the car with him. Also the location of my test changed three times resulting in me taking the test in an area I had very little knowledge of as I only had a few hours to get used to the roads there. I now drive with a very professional driving instructer who has helped me correct my driving as the driving method I was taught on this course was wrong. It felt very rushed and just a money grab from the company and the instructor. I recommend any future learners please do their research before paying.

Bough the course for my nephew, who was struggling to make progress on weekly driving lessons. After a week, he went on to pass his test and got a lot more from it! Thoroughly recommend.

Incredibly Poor Had to wait for a month for any sort of intense booking only for the booking itself to be cancelled a few days beforehand with no information or contact given, poor communication and instructors. AVOID.

I finished my driving course yesterday with a failed test which is no surprise as my instructor was from Manchester and didn't know any of the test routes in York. Not only this, I was made to feel like I was always making mistakes. He was extremely critical and I wouldn't recommend at all.

Do not book! Very unprofessional and such a waste of money. Search around and book with an instructor not a course, especially not with this company!

The instructor cancelled the driving course 3 days before it was due to start, citing various excuses without even an apology. When phoned to discuss with the head office(which has liberal opening hours) I was made to feel like this was my fault and spoken to in a condescending and derogatory fashion, and then the gentleman refused to answer the phone and had his subordinate attempt to handle the matter completely emasculating himself. Fortunately I had paid the deposit with PayPal to secure it but even then I had to point out I would claim it back through PayPal’s recovery scheme before they came to there senses and refunded the money immediately. Never use this company as they are not reliable and have no concept of customer service. If you want to learn to drive choose anyone but these “instructors” IN RESPONSE TO COMMENT BELOW: the instructor contacted me via email with little time or regard to make preparations, and rather offering he had already made the decision himself, which is redundant, as his colleague(as with himself) couldn’t be bothered to pickup a phone, whilst using multiple excuses to shift the blame from himself, I feel awful for the instructor who is having family issues and think it’s distinctly unprofessional for the company to use his bereavement as an excuse as to why they not honour there business dealings, this would infuriate and embarrass me if I found out one of my colleagues was attempting this. The company’s response as with previous reviews is laughable and they still refuse to assume any responsibility for being incompetent and cannot understand why wasting someone’s time and money may be an issue. To confirm I had to phone 4 times and explain I would have paypal decide the matter regarding the refund. I repeat DO NOT CONSIDER ONEWEEKDRIVINGCOURSE at all

IN RESPONSE TO THE BELOW: I was not struggling with the long hours, I never even did a full day (which I paid for). How do I know I would have struggled when I never got the hours in the first place? Yet more lies. The instructor was already booked up and didn't know he had lessons with me - I have messages proving this. You are, however, right that I had to end lessons with this criminal instructor (criminal because he does break the law - phones whilst teaching is not okay). I could not afford to take more time off of work. I booked an intensive course for a reason. The instructor has never been ignored, however I have been and continue to be by this company. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TO THROW THOUSANDS OF POUNDS AWAY! The trust pilot score speaks for itself. This company is disgusting and they only care about the £££. I have spoken to the instructor who tells me to speak to you - again I have evidence of this. It also doesn't take away from the fact that you have been no help at all when I am your customer, and you will hire anyone off the streets to teach people who put faith in your company. I booked a 7 day course with this company and to be honest it's one of the worst decisions of my life. I booked a 10 day course for £1400 and I've literally been absolutely conned. My instructor wasn't even aware I was due to start with him, then he just works me around everybody else. Now let me tell you about the instructor When I stalled he would clap and say "well done" sarcastically. He would constantly insult my driving skills and brag on how good he is. He would be constantly on the phone while I was driving. He would change times last minute constantly. However if I tried to do the same (giving 24 hour notice) I would lose my time and money for that lesson. But heres the worst thing he done three times. When I went to use the indicator or change gear unnecessarily, he would aggressively slap my hand to clearly cause pain. What instructor does that??? So I informed oneweekdrivingcourse of the issues and what happened. Guess what, they didn't care and had no interest at all on the matter. This company will take your money and leave you high and dry if the anything bad happens. This company is the most unprofessional, incompetent and waste of money and time I have ever encountered. Do yourself the biggest favour in your life and find one through word-of-mouth locally. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. SCAM SCAM SCAM

EDIT: I can assure you that this company is terrible even if it replies telling people about the .com version, that is just an excuse. This review is about this site and I can imagine most, if not all, of the others are too. My opinion is that .com probably has alot of the bad reviews meant for here! I'd give zero stars if I could. Spent over £1000 on this course, got messed around with dates twice, then couldn't finish the lessons. I didn't even get the lessons in the place I first asked for. The reason why? The ten day course IS NOT TEN DAYS! It's been over a month now and I still haven't had all of my lessons. My instructor had triple booked himself. He told me if I couldn't go with his timings then I'd lose all of my money. His timings? Two hours a day. But of course none of this came to light until I had paid in full. I have since had to say I can't attend them. The reason I booked this course was due to time constraints and getting the time off work, now I have had to go back to work because I simply cannot waste more time waiting around for lessons which has put me at a massive loss. Esyas is a horrible instructor. He would hit my hand and arm, be on his phone whilst teaching, tut and make sarcastic comments, laughed about making other students cry, would change times last minute, would always turn up late, shouted a lot, sarcastic clapping from lesson three onwards for making mistakes, swearing at me, calling me names, laughing at me, would always go on about how he's amazing at driving and how terrible I was. He made me a nervous wreck when driving and I'm actually worse now than when I started because I physically shake when I'm in a car. I then told this company about what had happened and all they could do was show the terms and conditions saying any dispute goes straight to the instructor and offered no support with this. They have basically said "not my problem". But it is your problem. I booked through YOUR company. You took MY money. Surely you have a duty of care to the people purchasing through yourselves, surely you should vet the instructors before trusting them with your company name. I've since been offered £100 in compensation from the instructor which doesn't even cover the lessons I couldn't take because it had passed the four week point, and the test I couldn't take because my instructor didn't have the time for me once he had the money. It's a complete and utter joke - this is a cowboy company and if you've had a good experience, you've been lucky enough to get a good instructor because this company does not care about you once it has your money. I didn't get what I paid for, I didn't learn how to drive, I was lied to from the off. I should add that I can drive forklifts, tractors, telescopic handlers, etc. I was doing this to get road smarts more than anything else. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY! If you want a 10 day/week long/5 day course, ring driving instructors near you for quotes instead of booking through this money grabbing company. They do not care and do not offer a single level of protection. They take your money to do what you can do yourself and do a bad job at that.

Absolutely shocking company !!! From my experience I would AVOID at all costs !!! And before they comment I am referring to oneweekdrivingcourse.co.uk !!! I was given an instructor in January last year who I was immediately unhappy with the style of teaching was poor and unsafe, he made comments which made me in turn feel very uncomfortable to include cat calling 3 women on the pavement saying “Pia drop me off here”. In my opinion this is not professional behaviour !! The company were unprofessional in their response even hanging the phone up on me when I requested a new instructor or my money back. Later into my lessons my instructor was arrested (and has just been convicted for numerous sex offences) the company stilllwe me a considerable amount of money (£800) to which they are refusing to give me!!! My phone calls are usually avoided and dealt with in a rude and Abusive manner !!! I’m very upset by my experience with this company and think as a result they don’t deserve any custom !!! They have however given me my test fee back which in my opinion proves liability, so money outstanding is still however quite a considerable fee! I’ve not had an explanation about this even now to which I do feel like I really deserve one !!

Paid a deposit and had no replies from them in over a week, chasing these guys for a full refund seems to be a nightmare ,even though according to the Terms and Conditions i am due a full refund getting hold of them seems to be nigh on impossible. i had booked my own theory test and their t & C clearly state they cant action anything till you pass this test so i shouldnt come under any sort of admin charge. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE RIP OFF MERCHANTS the reply below, unfortunately your company does not have a website so my review here stands
