The pharmacy made me feel so welcome. The colleague who administered my flu vac was kind and very thoughtful as I am not a fan of needles.

From the counter to the consultation room I was met with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff.

The process to book a private flu jab online is super quick and easy. I arrived five minutes before my appointment and completed the necessary paperwork. However, I was not seen until 20 minutes after my appointment time as the pharmacist was busy with other things. I would understand the wait if I had just walked in for a flu jab however this was a pre-booked appointment which I was paying for and therefore would expect to be seen on time or at least have an explanation for the delay. Otherwise, don’t offer dedicated appointment slots if you are unable to manage them.

I did have to wait as the pharmacist was on a call sorting something out - there was also a patient behind me waiting - perhaps when undertaking a clinic then call about other issues could be dealt with out of ‘flu inj’ time . That said it was a very speedy quick service once dealt with
