United Kingdom | 26 February 2025Ordered quite a few items for my sons new house, waited for a plumber to attend and install radiators to have no bleed valves or fixings in both radiator boxes, kept being told they will send out, then told they are out of stock, offered £20 to buy the missing parts, then no reply, have noticed a few reviews with missing parts, would be dubious ordering from here again.

United Kingdom | 26 February 2025Originally good service, fitter installed washer dryer and left. Washer dryer worked and has been for some time. Then I noticed that the wall behind washer dryer was damp and paint peeling off. This was caused by the washer dryer. I have spoken with appliance direct and said that the fitter has not installed correctly. Appliance Direct don’t want to know. They said I need to speak with Hotpoint direct. Get them to come out first check that the machine is not at fault and then phone them back if the fitting is the issue. I guess if Hotpoint come out and check the machine over they will reinstall it correctly and appliance direct will get out of having to correct their error. Won’t buy from Aopliance Direct again. Not worth it

United Kingdom | 26 February 2025Unfortunately my new freezer didn't work after it arrived, within a few hours of switching on it was defrosted, wasting food inside. Customer service was very frustrating as was redirected to Bosch, to repeat myself about the issue, as an elderly, disabled and blind lady, this was not helpful. Then told to wait 10 days for an engineer visit, and can't fit my ready meals in current small freezer. After a further call you agreed 7 days wait. Engineer came yesterday and confused it was broken due to has leak. Still waiting for a resolution, don't know when to expect a replacement.

United Kingdom | 25 February 2025Ordered an LG washing machine for delivery. Paid the full nearly 60 quid for installation and removal of the old machine. Driver tried to convince me to disconnect the machine myself. Then was swearing effing and blinding about being on his own for the delivery. Driver then ripped our vinyl floor putting the new machine in, and did not even stay to check the machine was functioning. Now I have paid all that money for installation and will be out of pocket again to replace a section of my floor! Wish I had not bothered ordering from this company now.

United Kingdom | 24 February 2025Not impressed by return service. Cited a 14 day restriction, which I must have missed by a day or 2. I wanted to swap radiator valves for angled variant. Delays over having to send photos of the valves (which are still in their boxes) and no response yet. Ironically, I want to quickly buy the alternative from them but not until they confirm I can swap. NB: I'd just spent £615 on radiators with them!

United Kingdom | 24 February 2025Ordered 4 kitchen appliances in January, paid and chose a delivery date of 21/2/25. On 8/2/25 we decided to add a radiator to our order and get everything for our new kitchen delivered together, spoke to someone on the phone to arrange this. I was told someone would be in touch 24 hours before to confirm a 2 hour time slot. I didn't receive a call or text so phoned up and was informed it would be the courier that would call. At 21.40 on 20/2/25 I received a text and email saying there was an issue and our order would not be delivered on the 21st and thank you for understanding. I did not understand and called on Friday morning to find the issue was the radiator valve was out of stock! A radiator valve worth £25 was preventing our appliances being delivered. Understandably very annoyed as we would have just cancelled the radiator delivery or bought a valve ourselves. Asked if they would deliver over the weekend after we resolved another valve was suitable but apparently they would not deliver to our postcode over the weekend. I only have Fridays off and cannot work from home. Offered Monday 24th so we both took half day off each to accept delivery. At 9.30pm on 23rd I again had the email saying they could not deliver. We have our kitchen being ripped out this week. I was annoyed the first time but now am more than annoyed. I will be cancelling my order and going back to AO (not the appliances I originally wanted and more expensive) My previous experience with AO is seamless and well informed for delivery. Appliances Direct, your communication falls very short of acceptable and your logistics explanations are not positive for your customers.

We had family arriving the same day to stay the week so only just connected the dryer up and all seems to work brilliantly.

United Kingdom | 22 February 2025DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - use Amazon instead We ordered 2 x infrared heating panels after reading lots of good reviews about the product on the Appliances Direct website. The total cost of the order was £240. The panels were super light weight - 7kg each and the dimensions were 70 cm x 120 cm. We tested 1 of the panels for a few hours and it did not give of very much heat (unlike the reviews that were written on the Appliances Direct website) so we decided to return it. The returns policy says we have to pay for a courier to return it - so far so normal and fair enough. My wife phoned Appliances Direct and said she wanted to return the order. She was told that it would cost £25 to return it with them. That seemed the easiest option, so we went with that. When the courier sent by Appliances Direct arrived he said that the return was for only 1 item and would not take the other panel. When she phoned Appliances Direct, they told her that even if 2 items were arranged to be returned at the same time, it would still cost £25 for each item. This was definitely not explained to us at the time. I can understand those sort of costs if it were something big like a washing machine etc, but for items that my wife can easily lift with 1 hand - this is a joke. So 2 days waiting in for a courier (8am to 5pm time slot), at a cost of £50 to return 2 super lightweight panels that originally cost £240. The same (or even more powerful) items are available on Amazon for a lower price with free returns. This kind of returns policy and customer service is exactly why Amazon is so successful. AGAIN - JUST TO REMIND YOU ONCE MORE - DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY - USE AMAZON INSTEAD.

United Kingdom | 22 February 2025I would have given a zero star if it was available What a absolute shambles of a company I have found my self dealing with I ordered 4 appliances on the 10th of December 2024 with a value of over £1500 with a promised delivery date of 24 December as these were Xmas gifts for my partner spent over £1500 Received 2 items on 31 December And that was only after a 45min phone call to a foreign agent And then had to chase the other 2 as the freezer wasn’t available they postponed my fridge delivery my fridge was sat in a warehouse waiting for a freezer to be available as this company wanted to save on delivery charges After speaking to customer services for 3 weeks they decided to send out my fridge on the 14th January as they had delayed this due to my freezer being unavailable although it was scheduled to be delivered 24th December Now after 3 months my freezer is no where to be seen as of today (21/02/2025) they have now told me my freezer is going to be delivered 5th march This has gone on for 3 months and this so called appliance direct are unable to deliver my freezer I’m almost sure the 5th March date will change as it has since December 24th and all you get is a foreign speaking person who constantly apologised for the INCONVENIENCE “ I’m really sorry I can’t tell you why your order is delayed please bear with us “ My advice is DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE they will take your money and have absolutely no idea of when they will deliver your items THIS HAS TO BE WORST SERVICE AND ONLINE ORDER SERVICE I HAVE EVER CAME Will never order from here again Please guys if you appreciate your money then. AVOID THIS SITE absolutely shambolic You will never be able to get hold of customer service and if you do you will NOT be able to understand a thing they say apart from IM REALLY SORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE

United Kingdom | 22 February 2025DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY! purchased a mini fridge and a russell hobbs fridge freezer, day of delivery the minifridge was delivered with a sratch and the fridge freeezer had an enormous dent in the door and side panel. next day the fridge freeezer was collected and a new one delivered. This one came with a large dent in the front as well as a gash out the side and a large dent on the back panel. Having taken 2 days off work for delivery they said they wouldnt be able to deliver on the weekend as its not what they do. having taken 2 days off work and they wanted a 3rd day taken off to deliver i asked what compensation i would be getting the answer was half the delivery -£15. order canceled and requested a refund. never dealt with a company like this and never will again absolute shambles

United Kingdom | 21 February 2025Purchased a electriQ Easy-Fit 12000 BTU A++ WiFi Smart Wall Mounted Air Conditioner with Heat Pump from these guys, the item itself has been great the air conditioning works perfect and the heater is a god send in the winter,,, my experience with Appliance Direct was also great from start to finish and we will certainly purchase from them again
