United States | 21 June 2020AVOID GARMENTORY I was sold and ill fitting pair of FEIT shoes (after some research they were mislabeled as a size 7 when in fact there were a size S which fits sizes 5-6). I returned them, then they were deemed by the third party vendor as having scuffs. We went back and forth online and came to an agreement that I would be refunded less $50 for the vendor to have the shoes taken to a cobbler to polish the scuffs out. I had already opened a dispute via my credit card company. I cancelled the dispute so Garmentory could refund me and I was just told that their credit card processors informed the customer service rep that it may take 60-75 days for the refund to be processed. I'm opening the dispute back up with my credit card. I will never do business with Garmentory again. They are not to be trusted. I was emailed every day asking for proof that the dispute had been closed and when I finally provided proof I was given an insane answer about waiting over three months for a refund. Refunds never take that long. It's an absurd runaround hoping I'll forget. They never even offered a credit. Awful awful unethical company.

United States | 08 February 2020I am not surprised with all the bad reviews here for Garmentory. I ordered a product Dec 21st for Christmas. Received two emails stating a delay in shipping and never received my order at all. I called and they stated they would need to file a claim with UPS before they can refund me. It would take 7-8 business days. I emailed and called several times. I threatened to dispute the charge with my bank. Finally, its now February 7th I got refunded. Almost two months later! All other businesses would refund you right away and resolve the matter with their shipping company. DO NOT SHOP WITH GARMENTARY - they are awful!

United Kingdom | 06 February 2020I can't recommend this company enough. Brilliant prices for international shipping. Amazing customer service. Ordered and item on the 1st Feb. Was contacted by the 3rd to say boutique had notice slight fault. There was great communication between the boutique, them and me. I did decided on a refund and the money was straight back to me. I did then change my mind and decide to take the item. They did everything to secure it. It is now on its way to me. Even with the time difference. They were in constant contact with me. Thank you garmentology for your amazing customer service.

The necklace which I paid full price for was not in new condition but had either been worn and returned or had been handled a lot and was marked and scratched. I will never use this site again as they are not using reputable businesses. There is no way the store should have sent out merchandise is such banged up condition.

Called my credit card company and they said this is fraud!!! Terrible company. Asked to cancel order and they don't respond. Too bad my credit card company is not letting my charge go through either!!! Emailed them 10 times and they ignore you

United States | 04 December 2019I recently purchased a pair of expensive slippers that started to come apart after several wearings three weeks from delivery. When I reached out to Garmentory with pictures and description of the defect I was told they would reach out to the designer - since they couldn't confirm how the slippers were worn- but she was really busy so it may be 4-5 business days til they could get a response.... and the resolution would depend on her response. Essentially telling me they didn't believe me that I hadn't trashed them myself and the designer's time was more valuable than mine. I filed a chargeback and let my credit card company handle it, but I will never shop on that platform again.

United States | 05 November 2019My experience with Garmentory has been, in a word, disappointing. They do not have the support infrastructure in place to provide their customers with an adequate level of customer service or an appropriate response time. For a company that is simply a platform between a large number of boutiques and consumers they are not communicating effectively or transparently on behalf of either party. When you are making a large purchase there needs to be a sense of trust that you will either receive the good/service you paid for or you will he provided with a refund or compensation when it doesn’t meet expectations. I returned my item and have not received any communication as to when I will receive my refund. Some information would be helpful. There are plenty of other online retail sites to make the exact same purchase I made, I gave Garmentory a try, it will be the last time I do that.

It doesn’t pay even if you find an item for less. Good luck trying to return an item. Very strict on rules, no understanding no customer care. DO NOT USE this site!

I know the artist's work well (I have a dozen pieces already), so I know her sizing and it is standardized. I didn't look any further at the listing, just hit order. Unfortunately, when I received the item, it was a small, but Garmentory won't accept a return and now blame the boutique and me. Apparently, burried in the description, was a measurement that completely contradicts the artist's standard sizing. So they listed the item as a large, but it was really a small, and I should have known better. But hey, they gave me $4 to make it up to me, and are sorry they can't allow me to return or exchange the item. Really?? Buyer beware!!!

United States | 15 January 2019I ordered a purse that was delivered damaged and Garmentory only offered me a slight price adjustment (<10%) and wouldn't consider letting me return the bag, even after I downloaded a photo of the damage, and they acknowledged seeing it in the photo. They blamed the non-return policy on the boutique that it came from since the boutique said a badly wrinkled leather bag (note that it was just wrinkled on one side) was not actually damage! Garmentory should have made this right, but chose not to do so. I will never do business with this company again.
