I have been trying to sell my timeshare for a couple years and I did find one place that pressured me into giving them money, but did not deliver. The firm placed me on a website with thousands of other timeshare owners and I never heard of them again. It was a terrible idea. Timeshare Specialist did what they said they would do. Helped me get rid of my timeshare. If I knew what I knew now, I would go to them first to help me.

Throughout the process until the closing, I had a place where I could look to see where we were in the process and if I needed to ask a question, I was always called back in a timely manner. Timeshare Specialists (Donate for a Cause) seemed to do an excellent job in helping us rid ourselves of two timeshares. The team that expediated our case was efficient and friendly. Neither of our timeshares were accepted as donations, and we did have to pay a large fee for services (equivalent to about two years of maintenance fees on each timeshare), but we are rid of them! The only complaint I have is we never received any confirmation from the timeshare directly on either property that our names were transferred off the title. All we got was a letter from Timeshare Specialists that the transfer was complete. We did telephone the timeshare companies and got only a verbal confirmation that the transfers were complete. Something in writing would be much safer and secure in case of some future issue, but try as we did, we never obtained a written confirmation.

I'm thankful I had an option to dispose of my timeshare and Timeshare Specialists was a good choice for me.

They handled my closing at my timeshare. And while the closing went through before the end of the year as promised, it took 4 months to get through the process. The extra month was their fault for a minor error on the title. The people that I spoke to there were very nice and very helpful, however, and seemed to move things along a little quicker when I called.

I heard about this company via Bob Massi, the Property guy on Fox News. I needed to divest myself of two time shares, one in British Columbia and one in Cancun. One down and one to go! The one in BC was sold and the transfer was easy as pie. The Mexican one is more complicated but it is in the works. I had bad experiences with other companies that turned out to be scams. It was great doing business with Christopher Marks and Lurah Klaas!
