On 16/1/24 I bought via the Cheapflights website air tickets from Global Flight Catchers to travel from Birmingham to San Francisco in August and paid £1341-21 . You are meant to receive E-tickets within 24 hours I realised on 22/1/24 that these hadn't arrived so I telephoned and was told that they had been unable to obtain the tickets and I could either buy different tickets or have my money back - I asked for repayment and was told that this would be made to my credit card immediately. Nearly daily telephone calls and numerous promises I stlll have not 8 days after the request received my money. On investigation I have found that Cheapflights (the website I used to find the flight) is owned by Global Flight Catchers. On Cheapflights today they have a BA flight to San Francisco for £671 (sold by Global Flight Catchers) If you go to Global Flight Catchers the same flight is shown as £1341. I am now in a position that Global Flight catchers has had £1341 of my money from 16/1/24 - an interest free loan on the pretext of selling me airline tickets that they apparently could not provide. Globalflightcatchers.co.uk have made several attempts to have my review removed. I have provided documentary evidence to Trust Pilot. After some 7 months on 22/8/24 after my review, they are still trying to make claims that it is for another company. Please learn from my post and do not use this company Globalflightcatchers.co.uk

I thought I would review when I had completed my purchased flight & return. I bought my tickets to the USA from UK at the most competitive price. As a first time buyer/flyer I was worried about getting ripped off. Though there was a couple of hitches whilst securing purchase - difficulty getting hold of the seller and waiting for my e-ticket which I hadn't realised I had to respond to an email to complete sale and receive, once done the e-ticket came through. Good prices and quick transaction The flight descriptions were a little misleading though as they said Virgin Atlantic on the confirmation but when the actual tickets came through they were Delta.
