George turned a disappointed start of an online transaction into a 5-star experience!!! After much trepidation, I decided to make a booking online for a flight for three persons, from the USA to Barbados. When I noticed that my credit card showed no transaction within 12 hours, I made an overseas call to the company and spoke with George. He then explained that the route/fare I booked online was no longer available. I was really, really upset. However, he treated me like how I used to treat my clients, by looking for seats, the best possible route and the best possible fare. Although the fare was going up, it was important that the persons travel, so after many options, we got a booking. I then provided my card details, only to discover that I had a daily limit which couldn't cover the cost of the tickets in one transaction, asked if it could be done in two amounts and that was ok'd to do so. I was worrying that the booking would cancel if not ticketed in time. When George called me and told me to check my email, I burst into tears!! The tickets were issued!! I told George that if I could hug him in person, I would. I used to work with an airline for 21.5 years and to be given that treatment, made me think he was ME!! Thank you soooooo very much George, I really appreciate your effort in securing this booking. I am glad I continued to work with you, even though I could've done the booking with a local travel agent.
