United Kingdom | 12 November 2024We bought a car from Richmond Hyundai Portsmouth and had really great service until we paid for the car. 4 weeks on, many emails and phone calls and still have no warranty or breakdown cover paperwork. I was also promised our private plates made up on there dealer plates and i haven’t received them either. Feel like we have been fobbed off by the sales guy and manager. Also Richmond won’t price match a vehicle as stated on there website. Avoid, ruined our car buying experience!

United Kingdom | 11 November 2024I would give zero if I could. Most of their glowing 5* reviews are for new car purchases. It is a different story when you take car to be repaired. Don't expect it to get done quickly & for them not to find other jobs to be done in their 'free health check'. Customer Service need some training. A formal complaint being sent now.

United Kingdom | 11 November 2024I can see lots of lovely reviews on here for Richmond but to be honest, I'm struggling, my Tucson was purchased new in July this year, it's now 3 months old, DO NOT buy the white leather interior, it's useless, gets marked daily, my complaint re the dealer is the support, I have dealt with one manager who has been helpful and one tech who was also helpful but the general salesperson has been really poor at helping me, ignores me for days to weeks, they've tried to clean the leather but it's not perfect and only 3 months old, it's not good so it's now left with me, I have an issue with the collision avoidance and the service person I spoke with was not helpful, 6 weeks to get a loan car or I can drop the car with no guarantee of date to look at it, get it back or get me a loan car, safety is obviously not a concern. I have never in my life considered this but I'm now looking to sell this car and buy another brand

I made the decision that Suzuki was for me, on the off chance I went to go and see what they had in stock. I was greeted by Jag who listened very patiently to what I was looking for, what I could afford and generally was very helpful about the whole process. I felt very well looked after and did not receive the usual car salesman pressure at all. It was a very busy weekend day but he made time for me and my partner. Here I am now a proud Suzuki owner! I just wish I’d gone there sooner to avoid my past car issues!

Mine are that my husband has cardiovascular disease with Parkinsons plus dementia.He has recently had one of many long stints in hospital. I cannot leave him and it is difficult to have the MOT/full service carried out in Portsmouth as I live 20 miles away. Vicky (Spencer) especially and her team were more than helpful. She was personable and followed up the procedure . She certainly has ensured I remain a Richmond Hyundai customer and will recommend this outlet to all my friends. Very grateful and very touched.
