Do enjoy working with Bench. They do the heavy lifting so I don't need to. It can run a tad behind sometimes but when the reports are finished they are very informative and let me see where I need to cut spending, increase revenue. More importantly they take a task off my plate. As a small business owner I already take no too many roles and Bench eases that burden.

I signed up for Bench Accounting bookkeeping services in September, expecting professional and accurate records within the 10–15 days they promised for historical bookkeeping. However, nearly two months later, my records remain incomplete, and the work done so far contains hundreds of miscategorized transactions. Despite repeatedly submitting requested documents, my accounts are still inaccurate, and there seems to be no end in sight. The Terms of Service state they will deliver "accurate monthly books and year-end tax-ready financial packages." Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. For two months in a row, I've received inaccurate monthly books, and I now lack confidence in their ability to complete accurate year-end financials. Had I relied on their data for tax filing, I would have drastically overpaid in taxes. Despite reaching out and escalating to their management, I’m left with the feeling that this service is not delivering on its promises. I paid over $4,600, and yet I’m now hiring another provider to get the job done correctly. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering Bench Accouting to look elsewhere for reliable bookkeeping support.

Bench really makes the bookkeeping process so easy for our company. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant, so I know what it takes and I have a high benchmark. At first I was skeptical about Bench, but after actually using it and working with my assigned bookkeeper, I am now a big fan of their offering.

The end of the year packaged is excellent. Agents are great communicators and easy to work with. There are times when Agent turnover rate is high. That is the only downside. Otherwise we love Bench.co and have used them for over 5 years.

I've been going back and forth multiple times weekly for the past 4 months. The bookkeeping group has a hard time figuring out categories on their own and the group seems to not know what they are doing. it was faster using quickbooks. I'm late filing because they are incompetent. Interest is adding up every day.

My only drawback with Bench is that they only do cash-based bookkeeping, so if you ever graduate to GAAP, you need to look elsewhere.
