Typical Insurance company renewal woes . Just another company that jumps on the bandwagon to hike up premiums and force its customers to look elsewhere at renewal time , instead of making the effort to create long term customers . Last years premium approx £140 , this years renewal approx £200 ( no claims made ) . Yet I can find it for approx £130 on a comparison site . But guess what , its from Cycleplan . UPDATE 06/11/23 13.35 . Thank you for your reply . However , your response re-affirms exactly what was said in my review . Your eyes are off the ball when it comes to renewals . What you fail to appreciate is that I am now an 'existing customer' , who has just spent an annual premium for insurance , and made no claims . You offer people who are not 'existing' customers , with no history , policies for £70 less . Had your renewal been in line with one of the comparison sites , or even just in line with last years premium , it would have been a straight-forward process . Now you find yourself in fifth place , through a lack of strategic thinking .
