I was really nervous about designing my own piece, but Chelsea came up with a great design, we talked through the options and they made it happen. The team that works at Green Lake Jewelry are simply outstanding. It is a very detailed process to design a custom ring, the designer draws a rough sketch with color, then if you approve, the CAD engineers draw it up to scale (with color and with the center stone you pick), after your approval of the cad design, then one of their artists creates the wax mold for a perfect fit, they send the mold to you so you can see it in person! T hen another artist works the type of metal you prefer, I believe yet another artist sets the stones that you have hand selected, and you (the client) obtain a gorgeous ring. The designer keeps the client updated through the design page with lovely photos of progress, the communication is stellar, any questions I had were immediately addressed, and any concerns were assuaged with knowledgable explanations. I actually learned a great deal during this process which makes my ring even more special. I now have a stunning 1.84 ct Montana Sapphire set in solid platinum with prongs that have leaf patterns applied, adorned with 6 delicate and beautiful marquise diamonds, and the band has a thicker bark-like texture that is nature related and just absolutely special for me. I HIGHLY recommend Green Lake Jewelry for anyone looking for a one of a kind design piece. They listen to your ideas and even add on with design ideas/suggestions that enrich the clients experience. They are also very timely with the entire process. Although I repeat myself I once again very HIGHLY recommend them 24/7. I look forward to next year when I add on to my design with a matching complimentary wedding band:) I offer my sincere gratitude for the team at Green Lake Jewelry!

Amber was able to put my mess of words and ideas into the perfect engagement ring for my now fiance. I had already learned a lot from previous research on the basics of buying a diamond and setting for the ring. Amber was able to educate me even further and help me design exactly what my fiance was looking for; all under budget as well! Working with Green Lake Jewelry was an absolute pleasure and Amber gave the personal touch that I just couldn't find at any big box retailers or typical diamond stores.
