This is an update to the review posted on May 8, 2018. Salesman Tom Taylor and a factory representative visited our home on May 31. They brought the sample slab of wood flooring with them from the store. Both agreed that the sample did not look the same as the installed flooring, but told us we should have known that based on information attached to the back of the sample. Mr. Taylor offered the store’s 90 day guarantee to replace the flooring if we were dissatisfied for any reason, but added that doing so might damage the sub-flooring possibly making a second installation more costly and no more satisfactory. Having just been through the chaos of building and moving into a new home, we opted not to take advantage of an unattractive option. Mr. Taylor agreed to obtain information on the specific adhesive used on installation so that we could determine the safest and most effective way to remove the residue left on the surface. Three emails, four phone calls, and two and a half weeks later, that information was finally provided today. Unfortunately we found that the adhesive manufacturer’s product information specifically advises against attempting to remove any surface residue once it has had time to cure. Regrettably, I cannot honestly revise my previous review to a more positive one. The flooring product sample slab available in the store did not reflect the coloration or character of the actual installed product. The advertised guarantee, which admittedly sounds good, is virtually meaningless if taking advantage of it potentially does more harm than good. The installation process left adhesive on the wood surface which cannot now be removed. Last but not least, the commitment to customer satisfaction must be seriously questioned when it takes well over a month and much perseverance to obtain information necessary for the customer to correct an installation issue. We have gone elsewhere for area rugs and had a very positive experience. I cannot recommend Carpet One.

Carpet install looks good except the dining room area feels wavy a rippling effect today is may 17th I will be calling to inquire

Great customer service. Worked with Laura in the Clifton Park store and she was absolutely wonderful. Everything flowed so easy from choosing my carpet to the sale and finally the installation. Our installer Bill was very professional and skilled at his trade. He did a fantastic job and would not hesitate to go back there again and recommend to others. Great job Carpet One!!

My husband and I bought new carpeting from Carpet One in Latham, NY. It was an awesome experience from beginning to end .Bill and Nick installed the carpet. They were very professional and took their time to do it correctly. They handled our furniture with care when they moved it out of the living room, and put it back exactly where it belonged when they were finished. They came at 10:45 and left at 4:30, working continuously except for a moderate lunch break. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did!!!

They did a good job on my 3 rooms previously. Tony did well. I like the carpet and the tile flooring. So far no complaints

Laura M was our sales rep and knew exactly what we needed based upon our price range and what we were looking for. The install teams for both the laminate and carpet were excellent. Frank was great also- we needed a slight repair and he was also very professioanal and excellent!

The floor looks good, the installation was good, but the installers didn't clean up the small scraps, threads, etc, and they didn't reconnect my computer. They left the floor a mess actually. For what was charged for installation, and that was a lot, I did not find this acceptable.

Floor looks great, modifications had to be made as subfloor wasn't ideal. The floor was measured almost perfect, about two board foot extra. John Fascia was great to work with.

We are very happy with our hardwood floor and installation. My only complaint would be that the color of our floor was marked differently from the mill than the color we picked out in the store. We would have appreciated being told that but our questions were resolved quickly.

Very good job. Slighly disappointed with appearance of flooring once completed. Finish more dull than first expected. We’ll have to see how quality of floor holds up over time.

We were very pleased with our experience in the Clifton Park store in making our decision. The store is very pleasant and were given great advice about our options. Our installation receives an A+. Jay was very professional in his work and engaging - a definite craftsman.
