Great experience good quality

Very fast, handset exactly as advertised.

Ordered a refurbished IPhone, which was supposed to be in excellent working order and condition. The home button was sticking and not smooth like normal IPhones and the battery depleted very, very quickly. I had to then send the phone back to them for repair. They only replaced the battery and did not repair the home button. I was without the phone for 1 week and can't be bothered sending it back again. Communication is via email only and this took betweek 24-48 hours to respond to any queries. They do have a phone number, but this is to an answer phone informing you to email or message through Facebook. I did both. No update provided if they had received the phone back from me, what the issue was and when I was likely to receive the phone back. Whilst they sorted the battery issue in the end, I would not use them again due to the poor/slow communication when there was an issue, the phone condition wasn't as described (or paid for) and ultimately they didn's fix the two problems. I wouldn't mind, but we paid extra to have a 'pristine' phone, and it clearly wasn't in terms of battery and home button. These are very noticeable things to spot, so i'm suprised they sent it out in the first place.

What a truly awful company . You get offered a very good recycling price and there is no small print anywhere to be seen . You send them your phone which is immaculate then suddenly they say there are scratches and the battery isn’t good enough. The offer is almost halved . They then mysteriously ignore all communication which is through messenger only . Shocking service . Ok to buy from perhaps but definitely not to sell to

Very quick turn around on the item. The valuation was more than other services offered which was brilliant. No issues with payment, arrived in account on the day the device was processed.

We used Gecko mobile for the first time and are very satisfied with the service. The refurbished iPhone was reasonably priced, delivered fast and was in a good condition with only minor marks that are not noticeable when we put the mobile into protective cover. Gecko could improve their customer service by actually having a telephone number that had someone to answer it for a start! If you call, you get a message saying that they only have customer service via Facebook or email and then the call ends. No chance to speak to anyone. If you contact them on Facebook, which I rarely use, they will respond eventually (beyond 24 hours if you're lucky), but even if you reply immediately they take another 24 hours or so to reply to that.. So really not any customer service, because email is just the same. I suppose, if you're one of the lucky few people and they give you the amount that's offered for your phone to begin with and you don't have to contact them at all then you won't have experienced trying to contact them. My iPhone 8 has 88% battery health and has always been kept in a case. They tried telling me that the speakerphone didn't work and there were too many scratches, so I'd only get a faulty price point. So called customer service wrote via FBook. They replied saying that maybe I hadn't realised the speakerphone wasn't working after it may have been in a drawer for a while. I responded and said I'd used it up until the day I sent it and the speakerphone had no issues whatsoever and scratches were minuscule - I'm absolutely convinced it came back with them rather than being there before I sent it. I've just upgraded to a iPhone SE2020, which is described as excellent and even that has minuscule scratches on it. No difference to my old iPhone 8. So basically - beware! They may tell you that you can get a good deal on your phone but don't believe it for one second or expect to be able to communicate with them. Thankfully they returned my phone but I wouldn't recommend them at all.
