I sent my phone which was in perfect condition ( I know everybody says this) This was a high-end phone which has been kept in a leather wallet case with an addition screen protector and never dropped and with NO scratches. I'm older and I'm a very light user of screen time.....prefer tablet use Sent phone to Gecko after a week they emailed me to say the phone was in poor condition with maximum screen burn and could only offer me a minimum price. Ask for to be returned back to me. Upon return I sent the phone to Envirofone who accepted the phone as perfect and paid as perfect within 24 hours....... I can only assume Gecko either confused my phone with someone else or there is something going on! Update 1/12/22 This is the quote from Gecko email to me after their check. "Device has to much screen burn for Good condition, shows moderate wear and tear. Poor price given."

Company tried to repair and then replaced faulty iPhone XR with minimum amount of fuss..very good service.

Awful service, quoted just over £100 for my 2 year old iPhone due to getting an upgrade. They sent me an offer of £24! Claiming my phone had scratches and issues with the battery health. I declined this offer had my phone sent back to me and sold for £100 with a different phone recycling company who found no issues with the phone!

I wish I had read the reviews here before dealing with Gecko. My experience seems to be pretty much the same as so many other reviews here. I sent them my phone, was told there was a problem with the battery, which there wasn’t when i sent it, and they offered me half of their original price. I declined and asked for my phone to be returned. When I got it back I couldn’t set it up again. After numerous attempts to fob me off by email I took it to an iRepair shop for a diagnostic check where I found that it was damaged. Gecko said there was nothing that they could do and that it was probably just the age of the phone and bad luck that it happened when they had it. This is another case going to Trading Standards.

Would give zero stars if I could. Offered £220 each for two of my phones. Apparently battery health was poor and too many scratches (always been in covers and with screen protectors) so they offered £100 not even close. Both phones had the same ‘faults’ both were seriously reduced in price. I guess this is a generic response to get away with paying price offered. I have sent away my phones to ‘reputable’ companies every renewal for years and never have I had a deviation in price let alone half offered price

The phone I’ve purchased is amazing! The process is so simple and they’ve made sure to highlight details that the customer would need to see to help with the entire process of purchasing. Emails were sent to me throughout giving me updates on my package. Everything is great about this company just a few minor things I’d hope they would’ve let me know about but nothing to break my happy spirit!

Ordered a iPhone 11on the Friday it was here the next day. Very excellent condition no damage whatsoever. And the price is very good for the phone.

Fundamentally dishonest company. Offers to send postage pack out but I selected option to print label to send phone in but then attachment simply says post phone so I end up paying postage. Phone was fully working and camera and front screen were perfect. Phone was packed well and company claim damage includes cracked camera glass and front screen which I know to be untrue as I was using camera an hour before it was sent in. Reduced offer by 60 percent. I still took it as could not be bothered with fuss of return but I know when I have been misled and duped. DO NOT USE.
