My book came damaged and torn

Easy to find the books I needed, and I was able to save money by being able to rent them. The website was easy to use. The delivery was fast.

As far as receiving the material goes... Book delivered on promised date, and good follow up by Knetbooks.

Best deal on a new copy of a nursing book I could find. My first order got cancelled, their system thought there were irregularities with my CC / information. Second time it went through fine. Would have appreciated an e-mail confirmation/tracking information but my daughter received the book within the ETA that was given.

I still have not received this book. When I reached out to check on it, I was told that Knetbooks had ordered it and it was delayed. If I had know it wasn’t in Knetbooks warehouse, I would have ordered from someone else! As of this writing, I have no idea when this book will be shipped! Very unhappy!!!

I rented a textbook for law school and received it with what I would describe as a decently worn spine. I did not take any pictures (although I should have) and did not say anything as I was able to make full use of the book despite the wear. I rented this book for $36 (after tax) and returned it in similar condition, but received an email 2 days later saying that Knetbooks received the book, but that it was damaged and that they had automatically charged my account in excess of $333 for the “damage” I supposedly caused. I disputed the charge and reached out to Knetbooks, yet the credit card company will not look further than Knetbook’s false statements about the damage and Knetbook’s incompetent and money hungry staff only replied with “we saw you put a ‘fraud’ claim on our company’s charge, we will cooperate with your bank so the charge for your order can go through.” What bologna is that! They’re only after your money and don’t care about a single customer. I have half a mind to sue them! Please do yourself a favor and even if you’ve gotten good books before from them, don’t even take the risk. It’s not worth it for them to turn around and blame you. They even have in their rental agreement that they offer no warranties take no responsibility for the book’s condition.. etc… etc… shady things like that. Another thing they include is their right to withhold the textbook while they charge you for the price of a NEW book. So they have the gall to charge you for the price of a new book when you rented a USED one and don’t even have to give it back to you. Ridiculous. I’m out $370 now. And there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it for fear it will go to collections and ruin my credit. STAY AWAY FROM KNETBOOKS!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Great prices and fast delivery! Perhaps making the package reusable for when we have to return it. However, I open it carefully and I can reuse the package to return the book. Other than that it's been great. This is my second time using your services. Thank you

Horrible company. Untrustworthy and prey on college students. There is no contact number. They lie to cheat consumers from brand new book purchases by charging excessive fees and providing false information to credit card companies when a dispute is initiated.

My order was cancelled and refunded due to discrepancies in billing they wouldn’t specify even though funds were successfully removed from my account at time of purchase. The only possible issue is that the delivery address and name was different from the billing BECAUSE THIS WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT TO A 11 YEAR OLD who now has to wait until end of January to receive from another company when she would have had it BEFORE had these non-sensible bunch of people not cancelled my order. DO NOT USE!

Returned my books like three days late and they charged me $500. They told me refunding me 75% was the "best" they could do. I'm horrified. I can't buy food for weeks now.

$2 off coupon saved me some money to rent which is always a plus. This site was the lowest price for the book.

DO NOT USE KNETBOOKS. I followed all the instructions and returned my textbook before the deadline. UPS seems to have lost the textbook. I got in contact with UPS to submit a claim and they said that I cannot submit a claim - only Knetbooks can as the seller. Apparently this is a restriction that Knetbooks has placed on the return through UPS. I tried to get in touch with Knetbooks through the contact form on their website (there is no number you can call) and they never responded. Instead, they went ahead and charged me the full "list" price for the book, plus I paid the initial fee to rent the book, so I'm now out $400+ and I don't even have the textbook anymore to resell. I've submitted another request to get in contact with them today. TLDR: no response from customer support team, but they went ahead and charged me 300 for a book I already returned. I will never use Knetbooks again.

Book arrived promptly and well packaged. (The text to let me know it shipped scared me because I thought it meant it had been delivered and I hadn't received it yet. I would suggest that text having a header of "heads up" or "it's on its way"since "shipped" can mean in-transit or arrived.)
