Really impressed by the services Sam and Team offer at EMA Transport. Reassuring to see the high standards of staff training and equipment used to be able to deal with all situations for transporting patients/loved ones safely and with care.

I have used EMA on several occasions this year, and I have found the crew to be polite, respectful and professional at all times. I will continue to book and use this Private Ambulance service for my mother for the foreseeable future. Also from the enquiry stage I have spoken with Michelle on several occasions and I have found her to be professional at all times.

We used EMA to transport my Mum who has dementia and a recent stroke, from Cambridge to Dorset. Myself and Dad were able to be with Mum and lovely Julie from EMA in the back of the ambulance with her. The staff were friendly, efficient, respectful and very helpful and attentive. I was very concerned at this big transfer for my Mum and Dad but they made everything easy and stress less. The ambulance is spacious and spotless and had plenty of room to also take our luggage. EMA responded promptly and efficiently to our first enquiry regarding the transfer of an elderly relative with dementia and other health issues from one side of the country to another. This gave us the confidence to book with them rather than their competitors and we are so glad we did. Michelle in particular was super helpful, phoning with regular updates prior to the date of transport and then during, as did the two very kind ladies who looked after our relative through the journey. EMA moved my Dad from home to a care home. The logistics of getting him from bed into the ambulance were far from simple as he is virtually immobile and the house has steps, but the team worked it all through. They explained what they were doing all the time which provided reassurance to Dad and to my Mum who has Alzheimers and obviously to me. The team were very caring and friendly and gained Dad’s trust in a very short space of time as well as grasping his mobility issues and thinking through what was best for him. The booking process was simple and efficient too, again with lovely staff dealing with my enqiry. Excellent service that I would highly recommend.

My mother was in Yeovil Hospital and EMA Patient Transport was very kind and helpful to get my mum home and comfortable in the house again. They did it with no difficultly like others have had.

EMA carried out a move of my frail 92 year old mum from East Anglia to the South West. Right from initial contact through to the journey, Michelle was brilliant and provided excellent advice and help at a competitive price. The ambulance team (Rob and Julie) looked after my mum for the nearly 5 hour journey keeping her spirits up. They handled the handover to the staff at the new care home in a professional way. EMA patient transport recently transferred my elderly, frail mother from a care home in Lancashire to a care home in Poole. Michelle arranged for a paramedic crew with an ambulance where my mother could rest lying down, and to receive the care she needs. The three paramedics - Jade, Rachael and Sophie, were in touch with family and care homes at both ends of the journey, and were professional, caring, and efficient. My brother was impressed with how well my mother was on arrival in Poole after such a long journey. The communication from the start of my enquiry, through the transfer, and the follow up, was excellent, and took the stress out of the whole process. I would certainly recommend and use EMA patient transport again.

Julie, Ronan and Shane were great taking my mum, a nervous 85 year old lady with Parkinsons disease from London to County Durham. If you need to take someone on a long journey, EMA are fantastic and their staff will always take care of the passenger.

Excellent communication from managerial/administration staff from start to finish. They were informative and reassuring, with regards to any questions I had.
