United States | 23 November 2022The first delivery date was almost a week away from when I was making the purchase, not what I wanted and I only went through with the purchase as I had already loaded all the billing/delivery info & the person I was sending to loves carnations. After receiving a survey PRIOR to delievery I was told I could have requested an earlier delivery date, which would have been great if I had know that, no where on the website did I see that as a option. Okay lesson learned. On the delivery date I was very unhappy to finally learn via FLOWERBX email they were delivered to the office building at almost 4PM the end of the day, in fact the recipient was getting ready to leave as the next day was the Veteran's Day holiday, so after placing the order a week ahead of time in Manhattan they show up and sat on her desk for 3 days. The whole idea of sending flowers to someone office is so co-workers see them and admire them (its an impact thing), I contacted them again to express my dissatisfaction and my reply was "I am really sorry to hear that your experience hasn't been as flawless as expected. I will make sure to take all of your valid points and share them with the relevant teams so they can be taken into consideration for future interactions." No offer of compensation or an effort for me to use them again. I must say the overall experience has me disappointed and I would not recommend nor am I likely use FLOWERBX again . UPDATE, the company should be FLOWERS'BS", their reply would make a lawyer proud, I especially like "we've gone ahead and issued "some" credit as a token of apology" but they don't publicly tell how much. When I received their email it was a credit for $20 towards a purchase, but you can't purchase anything on their site for less that $50 and when you go to their site the have a standing promotion of "$20 Off Your Next Order Above $50 When You Refer a Friend Your Friend Will Also Get $20 Off."{ so I can put an email address after my purchase and get the same $20 and I chuckle as they restate over $50. So I stand beside my review, if you're suppose to be this high end flower company and it clear the $20 is more than covered in their make up in pricing. This is evidence they are posing as a high class/price firm but really aren't. They screwed up at least offer something that can be used.

The flowers are beautiful and fresh - often lasting for two weeks!
