What made the experience great was throughout the course, having very realistic live operations that benefits you're skill you get taught. The instructor's are very experienced and knowledgeable. Everything included in the course ie. Driving day, combat day and surveillance weekend. Give you an open mind on the Close protection industry for the future. This company is not recommended at all. They will just take your money and no questions will be asked. I struggled with the course but no one helped at all. Definitely not a good company stay away. They also gave no money back but its a big scam

Really good course, great instructors, fast paced but learned a lot and got to put it into practice throughout the four live exercises which helps build your confidence. Would highly recommend if you’re willing to learn and put in the effort.

A very enjoyable course. Very good instructors that promoted a professional environment to learn in, and adapt to the high standards the job demands. I thoroughly recommend the course however the range day was disappointing.

The course was in depth and challenging but very enjoyable, the training team were very knowledgeable and great tutors who were always available to help if required.

I was in the class of June 2023 and had a wonderful, yet very demanding 3 weeks on the course. It is certainly not for the faint hearted and requires a real sense of dedication and hard work. I was part of a class on 13 and the majority really threw their all into the work. I couldn’t have asked for two better trainers (Lance & Jaye) who were extremely enthusiastic and managed to hold my attention for the entirety of the course. If you are going to take part in the course, it is designed for people who have a desire to learn and lead and willing to put nothing less than 100% into it. I hugely recommend Phoenix for anyone who wants to start a new career in Close Protection work as this course will open your eyes as to what is expected of you to be the best and stand out from the rest. The self defence day was so much fun but, requires a good level of fitness to be able to keep up. Mark was such a knowledgable guy and very experienced in all aspects of self defence. The driving day was also a lot of fun and certainly built my confidence driving backwards and travelling in close convoy. Being shot at by paintballs was certainly not a highlight of the course but adds a bit of realism to the scenarios. All in all, I learnt a lot and it cemented in my my mind that this is a career I would like to be part of.

Having a great team helped massively in enjoying a really hard and demanding course. Lance and Jaye with their wealth of experience and knowledge kept the team motivated in their own unique way.

From start to finish the DS we’re completely professional. It may not be what you expect when entering the course, but when you finish your final operation it was obvious to me this a cleverly put together course . The only element I was disappointed with was the firearms day , in my opinion this should be geared more towards weapons handling in actual scenarios based around CP work . Also be aware you will need to have a decent level of IT skills .

Within these 3 weeks you learn from practice for practice. The instructors do their best to answer all questions in a comprehensible way. Just don't expect too much practice, as most of it consists of theory days, which is due to the country's regulations. But when you do have practical days, they are a lot of fun and you are properly challenged and your behavior is well analyzed afterwards, so you can learn from your mistakes. So you take a lot away from the practical days as well as from the theoretical days. All in all, I can say that I was able to take away a lot in these 3 weeks to broaden my horizons, to recognize my strengths and weaknesses and to get a taste of the profession. Just don't come with the expectation that the course consists mainly of practical days. Otherwise, it was a wonderful three weeks with great instructors and lovely participants!

Great course, would recommend to all looking to get into the security industry. Or people just looking to upskill & gain more knowledge. Very professional at all times.

Training with Phoenix World Leaders was a turning point towards my career. The content I received was more than I expected, physical trainings and on the job training experience. By the time I left, my confidence when approaching situations had improved massively. Phoenix remains professional in their operations and bring out the best out of an individual in regards to fieldwork. They have a team that is patient and make sure you are equipped before taking on tasks on your own.

I was on the May 2023 course, firstly I would like to say Phoenix do deliver what they claim. The course it's self is truly a great experience, one you will not forget! Be prepared to push yourself, work hard as the course isn't an easy ride you need to put the work in to succeed. Our course intake was primarily led by instructors Lance and Jaye, two absolutely top blokes who's experiences and expertise in the subject is fantastic. They are both very approachable and happy to help any student course or none course related. They both have my absolute respect. The course definitely prepares you for reality. The live operations cannot be faulted as they put all the theory into practice. Me personally I wish the course continued the amount you learn in the 21 days is outstanding. I would most definitely recommend the course it's such a good start for anyone's close protection journey.

In my opinion the whole course is a rip off, for a start once you complete the live firearms training yes you have the licence to conceal carry but no guns are even allowed to be conceal carried in the Uk. The first aid training also doesn’t make sense as if you went to college or wherever to do those specific courses you will be there quite a while especially for level 3. The other things was that there is not much CP work around at the moment and there’s is definitely no work for £300+ Minimum a day. If I was you I would not even bother with phoenix I would stay away. On the phone Raj also told me that the £4k deal for the course had expired and that it would go back to £6k but if I put my deposit down on the day I initially called they will do it for £4k, the thing is that one of my mates called a few months before and he got told the exact same thing. As I said, it’s a rip off and they are only adding these qualifications to bump up the price as if it’s not expensive enough! If I was you stay away and find a different company to train with as all of this is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Do as you will
