A very well organised course with professional instructors. The course gave an in-depth insight into close protection charter. The classes conducted were a mix of practical, theoretical and live exercises giving a pragmatic and holistic view of the close protection mandate. It would be interesting and useful for candidates to be given more practical classes. overall a well conducted course.

The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and made clear it was not only okay to ask questions, but encouraged. The assignments, although long with a lot of homework, provided the opportunity to experience fatigue while still maintaining a learning environment.

What an amazing course, with the training set to prepare you for the industry. The instructors knowledge and experience at the highest standards, which you would expect at Phoenix. Its not the cheapest course however once you start the course you understand why it's set at that price. Worth every penny.

Phoneix provided a great course for people to establish themselves as close protection officers. They provided the information necessary and delivered it in a mixture of ways. The teaching staff came from a variety of walks of life, which I personally think was good because they all had something unique to share and pass on. They taught us the fundamentals of close protection operators and are specialists in executive security. There were a few days that arduous activities where performed and the staff motivated everyone to try their very best. Overall this is a good course for people who are looking to get into the CP industry

What can I say about the Phoenix CPO Course that probably hasn’t been said already? Initially, I thought I would turn up do some tests and a few role play scenarios and get my certificate. Yes there were tests however the role play scenarios were definitely more focused on real life situations. Which drilled into myself and everyone on the course why the various elements within the course were important. From charting routes to everywhere we had to go, including back up routes, to combat training, shooting day, evasive driving day and being dressed in a professional manner a majority of the time. It pretty much felt I was a CPO already. Of-course there was some pressure to perform and I was taken out of my comfort zone, which was unexpected for me in regards of a course. However, it was carried out, by the tutors, in a very constructive manner, which I feel has helped me to develop as an individually and professionally. Especially considering the whole point of this sector is someone placing their care and protection in your hands. In relation to some of my other course colleagues, I saw shrinking violets become firmer and bolder, especially when addressing an audience. All in all, I would say do not expect to come onto this course and coast through, this will not work out well for you. I would like to thank the tutors for their contributions and the colleagues I met during the course, everything came together to make it the experience it was. If you embrace the requirements expected of you, you will definitely benefit from a qualification and also practical personal development. But don’t take my word for it, if this sounds like something for you, give it a try…

Fantastic course, that makes you work for it, if your expecting to just turn up and get a qualification without putting the hours in because you "paid for it" this isn't the one for you. The instructors know what they are talking about with lots of experience.
