None of the points of contacts had the sense to resolve the obvious issues with their system, instead they placed further obligation on myself a potential customer to run around after them, wasting my valuable chargeable time. If they wish to provide a service they need to do the work.

Which was a very nice touch considering other banks wanting you to talk to robots and do everything on “the app” their online portal is simple and clean and very easy to use . So great first impression. Thank you Allica 👌

Also partnered as an accountant with Allica and looking to introduce some of my clients to them. Forget traditional bankers - they have moved away from relationship managers. whilst Allica appear to be embracing them.

TOP customer services too as they resolved an issue (which was my error) with flying colours and very graciously. So rare to see such honesty and decency in a bank these days. Thoroughly recommend them!

United Kingdom | 01 March 2024I had a term deposit maturing - they reinvested at a lower rate than I would have got as a new customer. Shoddy and unfair treatment of your existing customers. Suggest everybody uses a more ethical bank.

United Kingdom | 29 February 2024Supposed to take 5 working days to confirm account, it took 12. I phoned after 8 days and all they said was they would pass the inquiry on, no one got back to me. Went with another bank.

United Kingdom | 29 February 2024Don't put money on deposit with this bank. Scheduled a payment to be made back to me today because the app would not allow to do a same day transfer yesterday ! Pulled over to a motorway services to check the money had been transfered , it had not . Called Allica , waited for 20 minutes on the phone . My relationship manager is out of the office today . The person who was to take care of the RMs work today is also out of the office today. No one can do the transfer for me . It will take 1 to 3 days to investigate and come back to me . Didn't even say the payment would definately be made after this day. This bank cannot be trusted to do the most basic of transfers and because of that I am out of pocket . I said I wanted to complain, could only do it by email and it could take five days to be looked at and 8 weeks to be resolved. Useless at best, don't feel my money is 100% safe !!!

Was easy at the start, and then lots of docs, and information to share - I think UK banking rules seem to be hard work - especially for Ltd company bank accounts.. The platform is great and easy to use :) and overall a great experience with a few minor road bumps.

There are no lengthy options to choose from when you call, not get transferred from department to department. All the processes have been smooth and clear. We are moving to Allica from Barclays Bank.

United Kingdom | 16 February 2024I think the attitude of everyone at the bank was great - my only issue was with the banks lawyers. We answered all queries they had, only to be given another! The next list asked for copies of an NHBC certificate on an apartment that was built at the turn of the century. Previously we were told that we did not have planning until we had signed off all conditions. We politely reminded them we were Architects and knew more than they did. It became clear they were merely writing letters and lists to up their fee, and were not interested in getting the finance deal across the line.

United Kingdom | 16 February 2024My partner and I had banked with Barclays for over 20 years. One of accounts was a Business account. Even though we had a large balance on the account Barclays wanted to close the account (no explanation given). Fortunately we were recommended Allica. The switch was very quick. What's great about Allica, is the accounts manager called me and when I needed to speak to the accounts manager, I could. Long may the first class customer service last.

The call was answered quickly and the member of staff I spoke to was absolutely excellent. The attitude was exactly what you want from customer service; knowledgeable, with the expertise to solve the problem efficiently and a genuine willingness to assist. If only other banks and companies would copy their lead. A big thank you.

It was simple, straightforward forward and most importantly he listened. The app is easy to use, when ever we email there is a reply and even if our problem can not be resolved there and then we are always kept in the loop.
