I'm having such a good customer experience with Allica Bank. I was being charged £7.50 a month for my business account with Santander and receiving no interest on my balance. I'm now paying no monthly fee and receiving 3.65% interest. The switch was really quick to set up and happened without a hitch. They are also really keen to help you with your business and the customer support is fantastic.

Needed to invest money at a better rate than the High Street banks. Found them on the Governments authorized banks, and late on Martin Lewis' site. Easy to set up online, and easy to send money across to them. I highly recommend them (great %rate as well!)

Simple to use and understand online savings banking

My first review gave this 'bank' an opportunity to make amends. But they got worse - and in no way have responded in a relevant way to my emails or comments here. So I simply deposited my available funds with a profesional, serious bank - Starling. I have now asked them to remove my data yet they say that will take a month.

The onboarding process was very straightforward and made all the smoother by Agata and Spencer. Their customer service is second to none.

Initially I had trouble logging in to open an account. There was a glitch with the software. A very helpful James Francis kindly helped me get it sorted. From then on it was very easy to open an account.

Was looking for a business account for savings, tried a couple of high street ones ,but the paperwork and time scales were outrageous. Stumbled across Allica and WOW THE DIFFERENCE WAS OUTSTANDING, a quick online form 2 mins max, quick responce email acknowledgment from an actual person. Agata became my point of contact and was AMAZING,any questions were answered within minutes either via email or an actual PHONE CALL …..REAL personal service This Bank deserves a medal for making life simple. Top bank - combining modern app based banking with a real bank manager at the end of the phone or email! Good savings pot interest rate and cashback.

I don't usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so on this occasion. We needed a business account and I'm extremely glad we applied with Allica - it was without doubt the most positive experience I've ever had with a bank. Amazing customer service and seamless onboarding. Highly recommended.

Really easy and slick process through the registration and validation process. Very good competitive interest rate. Would use again, given the right incentive and economic conditions.

I couldn't access my account. Password reset email never came. Customer services promised a statement which never came either. I still cannot access my account.Update: Although a little later than expected, the statement has arrived and customer services have very helpfully assisted me to access the account.

Became a customer in September 2023. The process was super quick (3 days) and everyone I spoke to was great. The fact we're now getting decent interest on instant-access is huge for us, but also having someone you can speak to matters. We've banked with HSBC, Santander, Starling and Revolut previously and Allica are head and shoulders above them all with a real can-do attitude in everything we've asked them for. We tried Handelsbank but they made it obvious they weren't interested - felt very old school and a tad patronising (going to the branch for what felt like an interview.. Plus they don't offer instant access interest. It's crazy that as a consumer I get great service from HSBC (Premier...) but as a multi-million pound business, with £1-500k going though our account a month, we could never, ever get to speak to anyone at HSBC, and don't get me started on Santander's terrible tech that falls over every Friday. There are a few things on the roadmap (intl' payments mainly) that will make them even better at which time we're planning to consolidate all our banking into them. Which will be a very good day.

I opened a savings account when the rate was better than others. Very easy to do online and had no problems.

Set up a savings account with a great rate. Online set up was easy and when I needed to call with a question, the phone was answered quickly by a real person who was able to answer my questions quickly and concisely. I've just opened a second savings account. Very impressed.
