Very easy to set up a savings account and with an excellent rate of interest. A good range of options is available. Regular communication keeping me up to date is also appreciated.

Allica are breaching the banking laws by not passing the rate increase within 14 days of account opening. Make your complaint now if you are effected by that and not had your rate increased. Allica bank should have communicated this change with you, if not you have right to take complaint to financial ombudsman after 8 weeks and if they refuse to make amends as well then take Allica Bank to small claims court. Please read "Castle Trust Bank" reviews. Castle Trust Bank have passed on increased rate within 14 days whereas Allica Bank does not do this. Why? The bank rules set by FCA are same for all banks.

Have used ALLICA bank over the past couple of years and have not encountered any problems at all, very straightforward to open and service your account. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Poor communication. When there was communication it was either incorrect, not helpful, or irrelevant. I will not be reinvesting with this bank again.

Simple to open, fund, and see funds arrive on their straightforward app. All good so far and will update when my fixed saver rolls over next year. Hopefully the odd glitches mentioned by other reviewers re maturities will have been cleared..

They come highly recommended as a challenger bank who still believes in customer service, etc. They're just as uptight as any high street bank in reality but at a premium but without cheque support, branches, etc. Stay away
