I opened a 95 day notice account. Since then there have been multiple Bank of England rates rises, but Allica have not increased the savings interest, so I can now get 2.5% more in other banks and building societies. So I will be closing my account and moving my money. Allica seemed competitive when I joined them, but the rates have stagnated.

Easy and efficient to setup an account, was setup in 3 days and the card arrived a week later. Help was at the end of the phone, with minimum phone menus, no queues and on-shore help - hope it's always like this! The cash back is a fantastic feature and the instant access interest rate is the best business rate I've found. App is intuitive and easy to use, way better thank other banking apps. I read about this bank in the Sunday paper and thought I would try it.The website was easy to understand and more importantly easy to use. Not like some banks I could name ....but won't"! I am very pleased with the results.

I opened a 95 day savings account because of the attractive rate (at the time). This rate has stayed stagnant through numerous base rate increases. They are no longer competitive. I have requested a withdrawal as there are better options out there. James

Very competitive rate of interest (to be honest, by far the most important factor for using Allica) and a simple, straightforward on-line account set-up process, easy on-line access to account subsequently, and the full £85k FCA deposit guarantee (again, to be honest, all broadly similar to comparable 'challenger' banks).

I set up a new savings account. The instructions were very clear and I was guided every step of the way. I was able to add further funds as Allica kept me updated on how to do this and if I was in timescales to add to the account. Interest rate was exceptionally good.

Needed the money before the 6 months. Thought like other ISAs they would just take all the interest. No. Cannot touch my money...MY MONEY. I know it'd be in the T&Cs, my fault, but it wasn't obvious. Had take out out a loan to buy my house. Great rate, but it has cost me money. More than the than savings I'll mske on the ISA. Be aware that it is thing you want before putting money in.

I have just checked on my 95-day Notice Allica Savings Account. It is still on 3.40 % as it was five months ago. How can Allicia Bank justify not raising its interest rate with the recent increases in the Bank interest rate.
