Received heavily diseased plants with two or three different diseases . Having asked for a refund and supplied photos . I heard nothing for nearly a week ! They then stated in a bizarre reply they were happy to identify any potential diseases when I asked for money back they didn’t answer ! Edit: you couldnt make up the reply to this review of this incompetent company ...perhaps English comprehension isnt there thing.....to remind them i mentioned the plants they sent had multiple diseases ..two crucial words there the word disease and the word multiple..... not winter fall ...bless Bad plants bad communication …. Edit, these plants didnt have autumn fall they were all deseased. All 50 or so died ! Look at the tone of the reply from this company, no empathy , no offer of help. AVOID BUYING

Ordered 20 mature 5ft cherry laurel £260 but they sent single stem plants ..no use as hedging unless you cut them down to 3ft to encourage side shoots .. defeating the object of buying 5ft plants .. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY they took over a month to refund half 😡😡😡

Ordered climbing evergreens. Delay in delivery meant we were not at home. Asked for delivery to neighbour (with house name) or delivery the following week. Neither enacted. Box just left outside front door. Totally INAPPROPRIATE 👎

Wrong plant sent - too long to rectify, photos sent - Direct Plants say not received - even though I received no error message for non-delivery. All for a £9.50 order. Previously OK but this is my first instance of error on their part and not happy with customer support at all. If you want to keep customers on board, then efficient action when things go wrong needs to be there as well as effective service also received. Very disappointed on this occasion. UPDATE - yesterday Direct Plants emailed to acknowledge their ‘warehouse mistake’ - keep the wrong plant we will deliver the right one. Today the have emailed to ask me what my issue is! INCOMPETENCE WRIT LARGE 🤬 Now it’s one star ⭐️ 👎

If you want a Polytunnel that’s affordable, I recommend these guys. Quick delivery and a poly that’s lasted me 5 growing seasons. When I was starting out, it was the cheapest on the market but it’s quality. A YouTube video to help build and good customer service. If your a new grower starting out, I recommends their polys

Great quality plants and support after planting. I planted 5 Fatsia Japonica and had been delighted with how quickly they grew. We had a harsh winter and I wasn’t sure if they were ok. I was advised on what to do and sure enough they perked right Up and have grown SO much this summer. So Pleased.

I love to support family businesses and found Direct Plants when I was researching polytunnels for my garden allotment. I liked the fact that they are experienced growers who design and manufacture the polytunnels here in the UK, and I was very happy with the price. I found all correspondence to be friendly and super helpful, and the build instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The quality of the polytunnel is outstanding and has enabled me to extend my growing season as well as growing things I didn’t think would be possible in my garden! I have since ordered several plants, fruit trees and bushes all of which have been delivered quickly, packaged well and in excellent condition. We are renovating a large garden and have no hesitation in Direct Plants being our ‘go to’ for our plant needs and I would definitely recommend them.

Order number 1369743- I've had similarly poor customer service responses to others mentioned here. I set out to be understanding with my complaint initially, trying to give them an opportunity to proffer an apology or explanation. Ultimately though the responses have been unhelpful and defensive. It's also clear that the people answering the queries don't actually know anything about the science of growing plants!

After ordering 10 dwarf lander plants I am extremely disappointed. 5 plants have died after only receiving the order on 1st August. Numerous attempts to contact the suppliers I have still had no response very disappointed

Customer Service? What customer service. Sent them an email about a problem with one of their trees and only received an automated reply. now they have the audacity to email me asking if I would like to join their loyalty scheme. Never in a thousand years. Buyer beware!
