Australia | 13 July 2020The initial consult was a positive experience; the consultant showed good attention to detail and was able to consider options along the way. The delivery time was a disappointment. The blinds (which were quite well priced) were to be installed a week before I moved into the new house. Then there was a brief call saying they would be delayed by two weeks. My next contact, three weeks after was a cryptic text saying I haven't paid the second installment. I received no request for a second lot of money. So I called to make the payment and was told there was going to be further delays. Then I was told that the blinds would not be ready for another two weeks. I complained. To Victory Blind's credit, they assigned what I would call a "Service Recovery" Team member, Jess. She commiserated and acknowledged that they could have been more helpful in offering alternative fabrics to speed things up. They agreed to compensate me and the blinds are going in this week. Lessons here - 1) allow your field salespeople access to a live database to ensure knowledge of turnaround times on selected fabrics with some way of offering a similar alternative in a more timely fashion if required. 2) ensure that your accounts team is briefed if things have gone awry so that they handle the customer in a more conciliatory fashion. 3. Employ more "Jess's"!

Australia | 13 July 2020I didn’t want to pay upfront to ensure there weren’t any delays. Management agreed, however job still didn’t get completed for 5 months, way longer than quoted, which was very disappointing. Curtains were not measured correctly first time. I was assured I was high priority due to mistake, however, I had to keep following up a lot to see when order would be completed. Curtains were finally ready to go when I rang the final time - who knows how long they had been ready? Installation guys left a mess and hole in wall. Two blinds came off their rails and we had to get someone out to fix them. Customer service team was frustrating and lacked knowledge of my job even when they called me. Liam was one who was good to work with. Happy with the colours and material of curtains and blinds. Didn’t enjoy the experience, wouldn’t use victory again unfortunately.

Everything clarified, we wanted some unusual options. Second measurement, again informative and super professional. Delivered on time and fitted beautifully, again by professional polite staff. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
