Despite possessing a 999 Experian Score and great credit history, I was nearly instantly turned down on a finance application on a £190pm vehicle when I've been spending £175pm on one for the last 2 years. I'm a few months away from my 20th birthday so I can only imagine they have hard "no go" criteria for who they lend to and my age may be in play. However, that would be fair enough IF THEY TOLD ME that would likely be the case before they had their rep Mr Sam Curzons process my application. I'm now left needing a new car solution in the next 2-3 months having recently - somehow - been turned down for credit, which will now make it harder for me. Thanks Nationwide Vehicle Contracts for leading me up the river when you should know ahead of finance applications the general criteria of your lenders.
