I would like to thank Josh and Miriam for the help and advice they gave us when choosing our new dining room furniture and sofa/chairs. The help and advice they gave us made what I had expected to be a difficult decision into a pleasant experience. They both have tremendous knowledge of their products, and their after care. We have since been contacted by Josh to update us on the expected delivery date and we are looking forward to receiving our new furniture in October

We visited Russell Dean having been recommended to buy a sofa from there. We live locally and had always thought this store would be out of our price range but as there was a sale on we thought we would give it a try. We were so impressed! The range of furniture is fabulous, great quality and prices were much better than expected. We loved the large spacious showrooms and the staff were really helpful without being at all pushy. Syka gave us great service and guided us to make a purchase that we were very happy with. They are all set up for the current conditions with hand sanitising stations and notices giving advice so it felt completely safe. Am so glad we were persuaded to visit!

We visited Russell Dean to look at new sofas. We like Russell Dean because they are local and have nice items, some locally made. We received very good service from Syka, she was friendly & showed us all the options but wasn't pushy. The store is well laid out for Covid-safe shopping, Many Thanks!

We were in desperate need of a new bed and having already in the past looked at the standard out of town retail park bed stores we decided to visit the Russell Dean store to (a) see what they had available and (b) support local. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Due to the current circumstances the country finds itself in, there are guidelines at the bottom the staircase where you enter the store re: proceedures and the sanitization points that have been put in to place. We were allowed enter the store and browse with ease, rather than being pounced on immediately by an over eager salesperson as soon as we stepped foot through the door. Josh, the salesperson who did assist us, is a very knowledgeable and helpful sales person, he listened to what it was we wanted and there was no pressure placed on us and no pushing for an immediate sale. As it is, Josh did get a sale from us today and this is down to the fact there were no pressure tactics or hard sell tactics used by him, just genuine friendly advice. We are sure that the other staff in the store are equally as amiable, but Josh was excellent

Always a great experience furniture shopping at Russell Dean. The store is nicely laid out and welcoming, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful (thanks particularly to Syka on this occasion!), and there’s a wide range of high quality products with plenty of choice at very reasonable prices. They’ve made a real effort to make customers feel safe in the current environment, with hand sanitiser throughout the store and clear guidance on social distancing, which all the staff clearly observe. Will be our first choice for furniture shopping again in future.

Quality Store & service. Miriam gave us a good welcome today and we felt the showroom, as always, was well presented and very clean. Miriam has excellent knowledge and was very helpful. The store have spent some time to ensure they stick to the COVID-19 guidelines and we felt safe and would not hesitate to return.

Used the Mytholmroyd store to order 2 new sofas. Service from Josh Chapman was excellent even when we told him we couldn’t confirm the order immediately as we wanted to check out somewhere else he was politeness itself. No pushy salesman technique just quiet confidence that we would be back to confirm the order and he was right.

Excellent range of furniture items and plenty of British goods on display. Lots of signage, space and sanitizer...no safety concerns. Placed an order for new Parker Knoll suite. The store is much better after the recent alterations due to the flooding. Very helpful service and guidance from Syka.

A great experience, shopping for sofas and dining tables. I had great confidence in the safety aspect, during this time, with copious hand sanitizer and more than adequate space to socially distance. The sales staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and also give great advice.

Fabulous customer service from Syka. No pressure to purchase, good knowledge of all goods. COVID safe - lots of room to walk round socially distancing, plenty hand sanitiser around the store. Can’t wait for table and chairs to be delivered, look forward to shopping there again soon for carpets, bed and sofas, everything we need under one roof with friendly service.

I visited Russell Dean Furniture in Mytholmroyd today and received excellent customer service from Syka. This is the first time I have been inside the store and was very impressed with the layout and the light and airy feel to the building. Moreover the place is very well organised and reassuring for visitors who might be fearful of visiting such stores at this time of COVID-19. There is no need to worry - the store is perfectly placed to enable social distancing as it is so spacious. Hand sanitzers are positioned around the store and there is clear signage at the entrance. I was very impressed.............and by the way, I did buy!

Brilliant shopping at Russell Dean. The store is very spacious and cool. Hand Sanitisers and distancing guidelines are in place. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We have shopped at Russell Dean since moving to Cragg Vale 10 years ago. Ordered a sofa, cushions, media unit and a clock and really looking forward to it all arriving. Thank you once again Miriam.

We were anxious about going so soon after lockdown, but they were fabulous. We were able to make an appointment, wash our hands and the lady who helped us was very safety conscious. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful about sofas! We chose one and anticipate it with excitement. Thank you!

Have used Russel Dean's for numerous years and they never fail to disappoint in providing me with the furniture I require. Yesterday went for a new bed. They have a good selection of all grades and well laid out. I was abaly assisted by Syka who was both knowledgeable and humorous and made the shopping experience enjoyable The new shop is well laid out and stocked and will use Syka again when i next visit this store

Love this shop. It’s well laid out and classy. The staff are helpful without being pushy and Laura, together with the manager, helped us secure a good deal. When we needed to amend an item, Laura did this efficiently and with good grace.
