Cannot fault the work and installation that Greener Energy Group did for our Solar PV system and storage battery. Always polite and courteous throughout the day during the installation and conscious of the fact I was working from home and respected times where I was attending online meetings. From the quotation phase to the commissioning, the accounts team were always present to answer questions and provide all the information requested. Understandably, the response time was sometimes a little longer than desired but this is due to the current demand with a peak period for solar systems. Would highly recommend and will consider using in future again.

A good experience on the whole with greener energy group, the initial visit was very good and illustrations helpful in regards the decision. As was his follow up throughout the experience. The aftersales is probably the only area I was disappointed in, after ordering I had to chase the install/aftersales team on a few occasions to get updates on progress, and dates when it would happen. That said they did help with paperwork etc so am greatful for this. The install itself has gone well, the team were well presented and clean in the house and did a grand job with the cables etc. Overall a good experience and I would use them again

From our initial visit by Fraser, follow up assessments by Tony and the David we were confident about the process of installation. Rebecca and her colleagues guided us through the funding process with Home Energy Scotland. The installation team of Willie, Conrad & Mark were pleasant, efficient and tidied everything before they left. An excellent job all round.

From the start my experience was exception, luckily my point of contact to start the process was Shaun as he lives locally and I trusted his guidance. Shaun explained all aspects of the system and its benefits then left me to think it over, I never once felt pressured to go with his company but in the end it was the only 1 I would trust. The staff were always on the other end of the phone to help organise all paper work required for grants etc and were very accommodating with dates for installation. I had 2 days of work scheduled with my installer David, first day for my ev charger and again couldn't of went better great work always looking for the most aesthetic outcome for my house regardless if it was a bit more work for him, second day was panels and batt again David and Chris who left my house as they found it with very tidy work. I was worried about walls needing redecorated but all work was hidden. Unfortunately I never met the men who fitted the panels to the roof but again took time to work out best formation of panels and they look great. Overall great company to go with if your looking for this type of product, all members of staff I have interacted with have been very professional and have great knowledge on this subject

From the first contact to installation I was kept informed of what was happening. Solar panels was installed in under two hours, Battery was installed professionally and efficiently. All contact with the staff at greener energy was handled in a professional manner. I have already recommended this company to friends and family. Great job.

Great service - saving so much money

We were really happy with the quality and standard of work. The job was completed in the 2 days they tidied up after and even rebuilt the kitchen cabinet around our new boiler. Great service 👏

Good experience with Greener Energy Group. Staff were always polite, friendly and genuinely looking to help. Only thing keeping this off a 5* is our roof was non-standard. Tiles massive, dormers and velux windows. Had someone from installs gone up on the roof between the deposit and install stage we'd have saved time and stress on everyone's behalf. Having said that they absolutely did their best to compensate for the difficulty of the install.

The surveyor, Craig, was great. He made sure to understand our needs for our solar system, kept in touch regularly and never put on the hard sell. The office staff were also very nice, professional and proactive through each stage of the process. The installation was done efficiently and with very little disruption to our day. Everything was explained to us before they left. The only negative was that we were told that they would arrive at 9am and they actually arrived at 8am, which was a slight inconvenience as we were getting the kids ready for school. We are already seeing the benefits of having solar panels, with much less electricity being required from the grid. We would highly recommend Greener Energy to our friends and family.

The staff in the sales were informative and never pressured you to buy the products. The office staff were fantastic and no question was too silly. They were friendly and helpful. We had solar panels installed and the installers were tidy and courteous and very quick. They said they would go up in a day and it did. We were generating power by the end of the day. I would recommend Greener Energy as a reliable company.

We had an air source heat pump installed as part of a hybrid system by Greener Energy in May 2022. It’s now February 2023 and it still does not work, and has not worked properly since installation. They sent an engineer to put the system to 100% gas boiler before Christmas as the external heat detector is incorrectly sited. Despite emailing and calling them they have not made contact to rectify the problem. Given the amount of tax payers money involved this is frankly unacceptable. Their after installation support, in our experience, is exceptionally poor and there is nothing “green” about the energy we are using!

They were great, they did an immaculate job, clean, tidy efficient, all in a day. Can’t recommend them highly enough

A very professional company. They guided us through the paper filling processes with Energy Scotland. Their back room staff were superb. Roofers, installers and electrician arrived on time, worked through their work with no break and were obviously very happy doing their work as they joked and laughed whilst working. they all answered questions which must be silly but provided the answers. Overall a very good customer exprience.

The roofers and electricians did a good job fitting the panels and hardware, my only reservation is with the salesman. I can only say he did not explain the full reality of what equipment is necessary and also the size of the internal units to be installed. The inverter and battery ended up in a wardrobe, next to the consumer unit, which severely impacted on the amount of space we can now use. We were told the inverter would go in the loft, not true. Do your homework
