Many years ago I realized, with some panic, that as a US citizen living abroad I was required to pay taxes. After something like 5 years of not paying taxes. TFX got me through that first filing. Even back then, using their website to enter all the information necessary made the tax filing process easier, and it's only gotten better since. And after using their website, an actual accountant dedicated to your case and familiar with all the little edge cases that living and earning in a foreign country causes, looks over everything, asks clarifying questions or points out potential mistakes, and makes the best recommendation on how to proceed. First off they say free intro phone call, but it costs $50. This $50 is not returned to you, it will only be credited if you use their services. So calling it free is, misleading — which is exactly what you don't want your tax preparer to be. The intro phone convo was unorganized and felt rushed. Find a better service. Per the response below. I understood I got charged $50. But mostly I wanted to tell you all that saying something is free without T&Cs attached directly to the Advertisement is petty and misleading. That's all.

Very straightforward working through TFX again this year. All my previous submissions available to be copied over, making a boring task super simple. I'll be back next year, thanks to you all.
