I've been using these guys for at least a half dozen years. They helped me get right with my taxes as an expat. A lot depends on whom they assign you as a preparer. I'm back with them again this year mainly because I clicked with my preparer a couple years ago, the guy before that was not a great match.

TFX has been great. Again! I had been filling in my taxes myself for many years with all the associated pain of not understanding what the ins and outs were, until I got audited and the IRS wanted $15k in penalties. I found TFX online and they sorted it all out with the IRS - I didn't owe anything! Now I use them every year (since 2014) and the process is painless. Their tax questionnaire is well structured and easy to understand and their tax preparers are polite and professional. Their rates are very reasonable.

US taxes and the IRS are notoriously arcane and labyrinthian (yes that is a word) - when you live in the US there are lots of programs and people who can help you file. Once you're overseas there are a few but none of them, I've found, are as helpful, friendly and expert as TFX. Give them a go. I'm pretty sure you'll find they're worth their fees - especially if the IRS decides to pay you some attention - it's such a stress reliever to have someone to hold your hand (metaphorically) and have your back.
