I have been a customer with HomeSecure for over 5 years. After having to move out of my family home, there was no question who would be looking after my home security in the new one.

The young female engineer who installed the system was incredibly good at her job. She was also very personable and explained everything extremely well. One items I think could be improved - the cost of the video door bell versus other quality products.

The initial inquiry was very easy - the person I spoke to was helpful, but not pushy. I got a great deal on the installation and monthly coverage. They set up an installation date that suited me without delay, and the person who installed it came when he said he would, was very quick to do the job, and clearly explained everything I needed to know about the new system and the app. It's early days, but so far my experience has been 100% positive. Edit: I have been with the company for well over a year now and it is has been a positive experience.

Really easy and fast. The guy on the call was great and answered all questions and the installation guy was also great. Ordered on a Friday and installed the next Monday.

Update - following a response from manager, I am happy that I have been heard and and issues responded to, I hope. I have been with Home Secure for 3 years and up until 2022 had no issues. The app works well, and the response monitoring team are on point. The problems arose when I had no responses to emails outlining low battery in one of my sensors. After following up with phone calls, had to wait another week and half for the sensor to be replaced. After replacement I realised my back door sensor had not been activated following replacement meaning my home was vulnerable for almost a month due to the lack of response. No response to email, had to call again. Despite repeated requests for manager to contact me, no reply 4 months later. Just yesterday I called up to have my alarm reactivated, agent was due to call me back yesterday evening for scheduling to replace another sensor. No call. Left voicemail yesterday eve no reply. Called again later this morning to arrange engineer. Finally a date. Of course had to call back customer care team to remind them that my whole system is offline and to reactivate without the sensor that needs replacing. The communication system is atrocious- emails not monitored or responded to, no proactive communication, and customer care appears to be less than a priority. The agents are all very nice and helpful when you call, the scheduling team do their best and when the alarm goes off there is always a response. It's the in between communication or lack of that is extremely frustrating. When things go wrong is when you really find out what a company's care policy is for their customers, and Home Secure have only caused me stress in the last few months, and I do not feel reassured that my home is safe in their care. It's a real shame but customer care needs to up their game.
