***STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPANY*** UPDATED REVIEW About a year ago a had a super experience with them (read original review below). Placed a second order with them now and its been a disaster. Waited home all day multiple times and they dint show up. Customer service is terrible. Was firced to use a laundry mat for weeks. Cannot be trusted, disrespectful and unreliable. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU SHOP ELSEWHERE.

I am on a mission to expose this company. I purchased a refrigerator for my elderly mother. I also ordered a water line kit and paid for installation. When the men delivered the fridge, they broke something on it and then were unable to hook up the water line. They were like, "Ooops, we'll let the company know" and left. No one has reached out to her, and I have called, emailed and tried live chat numerous times. I'm on hold forever, and then often the call is dropped. No matter when I use live chat, I'm always the next in line with a 2-minute wait. I've sat there for well over 40 mins at a time. And forget email. They don't bother there either. AJ Madison will eagerly take your money, but will not be available when you have an problem. And though $105 isn't a lot of money, it's the idea that they took my money, broke the new fridge and washed their hands of the whole thing. It's wrong. I have been attempting to contact them for days via email, phone and live chat. I've been on hold for an obscene amount of time (and then often the call is dropped after waiting for 40 mins or more), live chat is never picked up (even when I'm supposedly next in line) and my emails are never answered. Do not purchase anything from this disreputable company!

We received only the installation parts and no cooktop. After talking to customer service, they told me "Sorry file a claim with your insurance company" on a $5k product because it came directly from the manufacturer. WHAT A RIPOFF AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! SO MANY MORE OPTIONS THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS! Will be taking legal action if not resolved ASAP.

HORRIBLE customer service and follow through from AJ Madison. BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a cooktop which arrived broken, contacted customer service, waited weeks for someone to get back to me. Was told that I was being shipped a replacement and the damaged item would be picked up. Waited WEEKS again. Delivery people came to pick up the broken item but DID NOT BRING REPLACEMENT. Now no one answers me calls or emails.

The worst part is that I have to give 1 star....Seriously....I won't go as far to say this place is a scam, but it is really close. Horrible customer service, we have been waiting 30 days for a fridge that they said they had in stock. I have spent at least 7 hrs total on hold and been hung up on 3-4 times throughout the process....DON'T DO IT PEOPLE!!!! Learn from my mistakes....

My review is about why I rated 1/3 vs 5 stars. I was well pleased until I discovered a theft of my Apple Air pods during delivery. Last week, I emailed every possible way. Today, called twice. First time, was tricked into pressing 1, that put me on a sales pitch for Medicare. Called back, held on over half an hour, then a busy signal came on. I have yet to hear from any of the contacts I made. Most importantly, the theft has made me skeptical of a company that doesn't respond to a customer's request for help in addressing an inhome theft issue. On this, I rate them zero.

I placed this order nearly 1 month ago. The sales advisor was new and tried his best to be helpful. He was unaware of the inner workings of the company and each and every department he turned to was more incompetent than the previous. First of all, the call wait times are ABSURD! They provided me with inaccurate information at every turn. They told me my item would be delivered one week after placing the order. Then it was pushed back to early November. At this point I was irate because I kept asking them for status updates and not a single soul had an answer. Finally I asked them for the PO, contacted the vendor directly who informed me that it's impossible for AJ Madison to have actually placed my order because the item is on backorder until December. I spoke with some sloth of a sales manger from a showroom in Virginia. At that point I opted to cancel my order, then customer service tried to say they did not charge my card and therefore there's no money to be refunded. LOL!!! SAVE YOURSELF and AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH AJ Madison!!!

Worst retail business I have ever dealt with. My order has been "processing" for weeks and I cannot get anybody to answer the phone or my emails. They will take your money and then ghost you. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I bought a Scotsman icemaker in April 2021 along with a 5 year extended warranty. It failed in August and I have been trying to get service every since. The NewLeaf service contractor acknowledged my claim, but I have not heard a word about scheduling a repair and it's been almost 2 months. Glad it is not a broken refrigerator. This company is a total fraud.

I cancelled the ordered, they sent it regardless...will not respond to my calls or emails. They hung up on me, dropped my call multiple times. Never called back. Said they would send me a return label, never did. Do not order from them. I spent over 3hrs on hold with no resolution.

I was in the market for a wall oven and I saw that AJ Madison had the model I was looking for in stock. The person working chat was a good salesperson (the reason for the second star) and I ended up purchasing from him, along with full installation and a cart-away service for my old oven. Unfortunately, there were some significant problems with the installation. The install team showed up without tools. They gouged my new, wooden floor when they tried to drag the unit across it without a dolly (if I hadn't been there to stop them they would have caused even more damage). They also left off a flange so there was a gap between the stove and the cabinet. I would not recommend AJ Maidson unless you plan on installing the unit yourself.

Unethical, borderline fraudulent practices. They've been holding our approx. $6400 since July and assuring us that all three of our appliances would be delivered (we weren't pressed for time and in turn didn't rush them). Come to find out TODAY (October 15) that the refrigerator is "unavailable." Were they ever going to tell us? When? Why did they charge us for it? Are they going to pay us interest for holding our money all these months? We may never know the answers to these questions, or why AJ Madison still exists. All I know is that we could've used these months to find a refrigerator that fits our specific needs, and they robbed us of that.

Absolutely horrible service and delivery. They do everything they can to make it IMPOSSIBLE to reach them, still using COVID as an excuse when the real culprit is their absolute incompetence. They have jeopardized my entire kitchen remodel. What a joke of a company. Do NOT order from them no matter what you do. Do not make the same mistake as me!!!

WARNING! Do not buy from AJ Madison. I bought an entire kitchen appliance set; refrigerator, range, microwave, range hood, with accessories. Every piece eventually arrived late but all were damaged. After nine (9) months, I’m still struggling with AJM customer service; they do not respond to email nor do they answer their phones. Not once have they offered to replace damaged units as a first choice towards customer satisfaction. Dealing with AJM has proved to be a very painful experience, one that I’ll never be part of again. I am contacting my credit card company to dispute charges.

We have been customers of AJ Madison for a while and we have been pretty satisfied with their product catalog. We have been able to find the appliances we needed for our home. This all changed with our last order where a dishwasher arrived broken. That in itself is not a deal breaker... We know this happens sometimes... The disappointment started as I tried to reach out to customer support to try to address the issue. I had to spend 7-8 hours (over multiple calls) trying to talk to someone to solve this for us... I also send countless emails... and every time i started a new interaction i had to explain everything all over again. After about a month and a half I finally go someone to say they will refund us as they have not been able to deliver a new dishwasher. If you order from them, think of it as rolling the dice... if the product comes in good conditions, then great... but if there is anything wrong with it be prepared to deal with the worst customer support.

Worst Customer Service Ever Terrible Customer Service. Stay away! My 89 year old partner decided to renovate his kitchen and the contractor took him to AJ Madison to select the appliances. Worst mistake from the contractor. From the moment he placed the order, the customer service experience was absolutely terrible. He needed to change the fridge and the stove after and the sales guy took forever to reply. Later on when the contractor needed to get in touch with the sales person was the same story, many e-mails and never a reply. He finally had to contact another sales rep to deal with. When they shipped the appliances, they never contacted the building to arrange insurance documents. As a result they were unable to deliver. It was rescheduled for another day. When they showed up, they refused to take away the old appliances, even though my partner paid for the installation service, which included the removal of the old appliances. My partner canceled the order and then they said they will charge him 30% restocking fee. They were the ones who did not fulfilled their part of the agreement and still they charge 30%? Stay away from this company. It is a nightmare to deal with. They have no idea what customer service means.

I ordered from AJ Madison in the past and had great experience, but this time it's awful! Not their fault that the delivery service is horrible (they show up without an appointment) and that my appliance looked like it and been drop kicked off the truck, but when you have a problem, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone from AJ Madison to call you to help you fix the problem. They close at 5 pm Eastern are closed on weekends, and on Monday I was on hold for hours trying to reach someone. I emailed and called with no response. I see that AJ Madison subscribes to Trustpilot. AJ Madison you are reading this please call me about order 139418075. (1) I am concerned that the LG Sidekick is badly damaged (2) you told me on the phone that I was paying extra to have the delivery team unbox and install the appliances to ensure they work, but when the delivery team came they said this wasn't on the order so I told them to leave. I have been without a washer and dryer for over a month now. I'm tired of waiting on hold for hours and hours to talk to you and your delivery team. Please call me.

This company really SUCKS!! we ordered two refrigerators in October of last year and they still can not give us a delivery date. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ASSWIPES!
