Peter and Ray were very efficient, courtesy call on the way so we knew what time they would arrive They unpacked everything in the van so no mess at all in the house, very fast, all parts protected from hard floor during the build, no complaints at all

Order number 5000104161 - Larkin 2 seater boucle sofa purchased. Delivery etc was actually fine despite the reviews but the quality of the actual sofa is shocking. It is rock hard and the cushions feel and sound like they’re stuffed with crinkly plastic. Initially I thought it might just need a bit of ‘breaking in’ but months later it is still as awful. Honestly feels like it’s come from Temu! Far too hard to sit on comfortably, it’s like trying to relax on one of those padded seat covers you put on wooden dining chairs. Have not officially complained as I’m assuming it’s far too late now! Lesson learnt to not give the benefit of the doubt.

Wow!!I can’t say how great Simon and Wojciech were when they delivered my settee, they went above and beyond with everything, even sorting out the mistakes what the lads did at the workshop (settees fixings were put on wrong.) very respectful, great banter which is always appreciated in my home. I’ll definitely buy from B&S but only if I can be guaranteed that these lads would be delivering again. Thank you so much! And later on I’ll be laying on my gorgeous settee, drinking and laughing what we were talking about today. Have a great day guys!

We looked at multiple sofas from a number of different retailers, in the end opting for Barker and Stonehouse. Ewan was really friendly, welcoming and helpfull. He was there when needed but did not push for thr sale giving us time and space whilst answering all out questions. The sofas have just been delivered by Roger and Stefen who were great, bringing them into the room and taking away all wrapping. The whole experience has been excellent and I would certainly recommend Barker and Stonehouse to anyone looking for a new sofa.

Over a year ago, I visited a Barker and Stonehouse branch in the North East and was thoroughly disappointed by the complete lack of customer service. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, and I happened to walk into the Guildford store—what a difference! There, I had the pleasure of meeting Valentina, who was nothing short of fantastic. She was incredibly helpful, efficient, and understanding, going out of her way to gather all the information I needed within just a couple of days. Not once did she pressure me to make a purchase; instead, she patiently waited for me to return to Guildford for one final look before I made my decision. Thanks to her exceptional service, I finally bought the sofa I had originally considered in the North East—if only they had been as attentive as Valentina! Her customer service has been second to none, and I cannot thank her enough. Well done, Valentina! You have been an absolute pleasure to deal with.
