Just had our new suite delivered by Barker & Stonehouse and have to say you get what you pay for. The suite is amazing and we’re over the moon with it. Have to also give a shout out to the two delivery men Simon & Wojciech from Barker & Stonehouse who were amazing, professional & super friendly. Thankyou & wont hesitate to recommend you.

We were looking to change or suite and having bought previously from Barker & Stonehouse that was our first stop, after browsing we seen one we really liked and as we were looking we were approached by Paul Dacre from the sales team. Paul was extremely helpful and answered all our questions, he was not at all pushy in fact the opposite telling us to take our time to think about our purchase. We made our minds up there and then and the purchase was completed with Paul explaining everything to us very clearly. Would definitely recommend.

B&S is are go to store staff are helpful knowledgeable not pushy and listen to the customer needs. We have recently bought a mattress and dining room chairs excellent quality, delivered when they said they would. Delivery men Wojceik and Simon lovely guys all packaging removed and taken away first class service thank you B&S.

Fabulous experience all around! The sales consultant Kelly was friendly, really knowledgeable and extremely professional in her approach. We came for 3 midrange mattresses and Kelly worked really well with us - she found out what requirements we had and then found us appropriate items, but also some better choices for our needs; not in a pushy way, but in an entirely kind, respectful and patient way. She gave us lots of time to try various mattresses, gave us time to consider the options amongst ourselves too and in the end we ordered much better quality (albeit more expensive, but well worth the extra price tag as we will actually enjoy them for longer). “Breath of fresh air” compared to several other mattress shopping attempts during which we encountered incredibly pushy, opinionated and downright annoying sales teams who wanted to tell us what they thought we needed! We would extremely highly recommend the Guildford store - ask for Kelly; she’s a highly professional sales consultant who will listen to your requirements and find a solution that works well for you.

Very smooth delivery from Matt P. and Adrian. They arrived on time and were very fast and careful to bring my new armchair through the doors.

Finding settees for our house is always a challenge, it’s three story with the living room on the first floor with a recessed staircase with two turns, limited headroom due to the next flight of stairs and supporting pillars at each turn. We fell across the perfect settees in Barker and Stonehouse, they split down and the staff in Fenwick in Newcastle, as well as the store at the Metro Centre and on St Andrew’s Quay in Kingston upon Hull were brilliant in making sure that the settees slit down sufficiently to get them them up the stairs. On delivery Simon and Wojciech who were delivering on the day were brilliant. They arrived in time, were very curious, offering to take their shoes off whilst in the house. They had a good look at the route to get the settees in and brought them in. Taking care of both the new settees, the walls and the staircase the got the settees into the living room. They then took care to assemble the settees and make sure that they were working correctly before leaving. Very happy with the settees and very much with the professionalism of the delivery. Thank you again to Simon and Wojciech for the delivery, particularly as it’s a tough ask to get settees if that weight up our stairs!

Simon from Leeds store We spotted a set of coffee table but it could no longer be found on the website, so we went back to the store again to see if the display was still available. One staff tried to help us but it was already off from market. It might sound cheesy but Simon really went above and beyond that he managed to locate a set of display in another store. We are so relieved that we got our lovely coffee tables and that all thanks to Simon.

Dan & Terry were friendly and efficient they unpacked and assembled our dining table with ease even ensuring there was no wobble ... All rubbish was removed Excellent service
