United Kingdom | 08 March 2022Absolutely Horrendous company!!!! Please stay away!!! I put a job out for my Zanussi cooker from the 11th of November up till now all I get is excuses, excuses . Staff are rude they cut off the phone on you. From November to now they’ve taken 4 more payments but all I get for my money is excuses. They’ve cancelled and rebooked more than 6 times. This company should not be doing business with the public they should be shut down. I have paid £ 4.49 for almost 3 years. All have got from these people is frustration. The irony is I covered my cooker for peace of mind I have got the opposite from them. The way I’m being treated beggars belief . Atrocious!!! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Unbelievable!!!

United Kingdom | 03 March 2022My experience with this company has been in a word "HORRENDOUS", I would give myself writers cramp to detail every stressful call that I have had to make and be left totally frustrated and on the point of tears! This is my 7th week without a washing machine, after two incompetent engineer visits, been told I would get a replacement over 3 weeks ago and still no washing machine. This company is operated by rude customer service staff, who seem to me to read from a script on each call they must receive, I even believe that they note your phone number so they are ready for your call which sometimes they just dont answer or cut you off!. I have sent numerous emails, made endless calls and today have succumbed to ordering a washing machine myself as I cannot take the stress of having to deal with these people anymore and be constantly lied to! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OUT ANY TYPE OF INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE COWBOYS WHO SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY THE OMBUDSMAN AND STRUCK OFF.

I have had 6 element repairs in a couple of years and now the oven causes electric shocks and trips the electricity as soon as it is turned on. We have tried to talk to anyone about getting the faulty item replaced, but I either get lied to and another engineer comes out to replace the element AGAIN, or I get hung up on. I am having to take further action to get a response.

United Kingdom | 01 March 2022Took out insurance cover approx 6 months ago on 3 appliances. On Tuesday 1st Feb 2022, my freezer was beeping and not getting cold enough. Thought maybe I didn't shut the door correctly even though I'd not accessed the freezer since the Saturday gone. I reset the alarm and off to work I went. I came back to the same issue. Tried it again later that evening and checked again next morning and it still hadn't resolved the issue. I contacted the number provided on the policy 0300 303 4033 to arrange an engineer. The earliest appointment given was for Saturday 12th Feb. Yes, that's right 11 days later! I was then advised if they can get someone out earlier they will let me know. I didn't hold out for any hope! Took the contents of my freezer to my parents for storage. Saturday 12th Feb, the engineer comes, replaces the thermostat and says hopefully that's resolved it. Yes, Hopefully (again doesn't give me much hope but I have to try!). Went over to my parents to collect my contents and returned later in the evening with the hope that the freezer will be at the desired temperature (-18c) but it wasn't. Was I surprised? No, not really. Made a trip back to my parents with my contents! I can't call anyone on a weekend as they only work Monday to Friday. I don't know if these companies know but an appliance breakdown can happen on a weekend too! To provide no weekend service either, it's absolutely shocking! Anyhow, call the number above again on Monday 14th Feb and was given the earliest date of Tuesday 22nd Feb. Yep another week of no freezer. Come Tuesday 22nd Feb and I receive no contact from the engineer (as they are supposed to contact you before 9am with an ETA). I waited until 9.42 and I sent an SMS to the engineer asking what time he was coming, only to receive an reply saying he's not my engineer. Yes you couldn't make it up! Called the above number and they confirmed the same details as I was sent. Off they went to speak to the engineer and the customer service agent returned to say the engineer will be there before 12 noon. Guess what? the engineers turned up at 11.59am! Before noon like they promised. The engineer didn't do much, didn't check anything apart from open the freezer door and say I can feel a cold air. Wow, is that how you qualify to become a white good engineer? maybe I should take up that career too? Answers on a postcard please. Long story short he more or less accused the previous engineer of taking the easy route out and only replacing the thermostat in the freezer and not the other. He then left and said he'll have a new one ordered and they'll be in touch. To his credit I did receive a SMS advising appointment booked for Thursday 3rd March but it was in the evening and surprise surprise the call centre was closed. Unfortunately for personal reason I cannot make the Thursday 3rd March so I called the number above on Wednesday 23rd Feb and re-arranged for Friday 4th March. Fast forward to the morning of Saturday 26th February to wake up to find the freezer no longer working and the fridge wasn't cold. The freezer has gone kaput! I thought I know what I'll do I'll call the above number only to remember they aren't open on a weekend, oh shoot! I ended up chucking the fresh contents of the fridge in the bin on Sunday. I had hoped it'd miraculously start working again. Come Monday 28th Feb, I called in the morning to say I no longer have a fridge or freezer and I can smell some sort of gas when I opened the freezer door and the response I got was, I'll make a note for the engineer! Beggars belief! By the time the engineer comes on Friday I would've been without a freezer for over a month and a fridge for almost a week and I have no confidence I will have a working appliance. I can't wait to go to the financial ombudsman and watchdog to report HomeServe UK for taking money and not providing a service and UK Warranty, Pacifica Group etc for basically the same and much much more!

United Kingdom | 28 February 2022I made a claim on the warranty SEVEN WEEKS ago today. I'm still without a cooker. I have written to the Managing director and complaints still nothing. I have made contact with them , sometimes 6 times in one day, absolutely awful customer service. I have paid monthly for three years, what a waste. Please use another warranty company!!!!!

United Kingdom | 22 February 2022Had cover with UK Warranty and when I have had to claim they are transferring me from one department to another, now been 9 days and have had no joy from these cowboys…AVOID AT ALL COST….the customer service is non existent…they cut you off half way through or transfer you somewhere else if they can’t answer your query. Messaged and email Neil the managing director but as of yet NOTHING.

Have read a lot of these reviews before mine, it's quite clear, UK Warranty will fraudulently take money of you without providing the service. Neil Martin (managing director) does not respond to any calls or emails. Dionne Armstrong is just as bad and a so-called customer service staff Jade Printy is rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Also spoke to Jade Christy but no diffrence. I will be left with no choice but to escalate to the financial ombudsman. Stay well clear of UK WARRANTY

United Kingdom | 16 February 2022after needed a cooker repair at the start of dec,engineer came out,no inspection just i order that that and that but if i was you call and ask for replacement possibility cos this wont be done by xmas.So i follow advice,we don,t replace they said, am waiting on parts call,date comes and goes.I call uk warranty to be told the engineer had ordered the parts then cancelled order saying i refused a repair,pure lie! so i state this and am offered parts reorder then wait on another visit well into january,i say its unacceptable,am disabled i need manage my diet xmas round the corner,why do i suffer cos engineer lied? so no solutions are offered ,so i officially complain and say i need a cooker i will have to buy one i cannot go so long on a poor diet with no means to cook with my medical conditions. so letter arrives 12th jan dated 17th dec that i must await final outcome 4 weeks,once you complain then you are penalized you must wait decision,well 4 weeks then again call disgusting customer services be told it does not matter what letter states its 8 weeks in no uncertain terms! call again last week,we chase up wait 2 days,NO CALL call again today,same again,so i call manger director ,no answer,i email,to be given my final response,of,wait for it, "we will not replace or refund the cooker because you refused a repair" lies lies and more lies even if he had came with parts how much longer would i have waited ,it was not parts it had been on fire the elec components at the back of the cooker was all burnt and melted with clear fire marks. over 3 months later this is the outcome,so was i right to go out and buy a cooker to eat,YES do not buy from this company,they are deplorable excuse for a warranty company customer service is full of false promises if you lucky,at best you get a sarky unhelpful advisor and a phone bill to match if you where given the 0844 number do your homework and look at so many poor reviews .

United Kingdom | 16 February 2022I’m not a one to complain but this company takes your money promises to pay back and ignores emails After a change of banks I had payed payment by bank transfer but later to be told I don’t have cover to get new cover But they must have another company as this one was on my emails with 0800 repair to a different website uk warranty is a joke really They don’t answer phones They over promise Under deliver Saying system down for over a week now after not getting my money back as promised 3weeks later no emails answered just don’t use them

United Kingdom | 15 February 2022Uk warranty have had my appliance for repair since 10th December 2021. Today is 15th February 2022. Despite numerous emails and phone calls including copying in various senior personnel I am still no further forward with my repair. I sent it for repair in November only for it to be returned unrepaired, hence sending it back on 10th December 2021. Service operatives have continually advised they have emailed the warehouse for an update since 20th January. I have been advised to complain via their website - there is no complaints contact form on the website. This is a very shoddy service, systems and processes are clearly broken. Looking at other Trust pilot reviews I’m clearly not alone

My tumble dryer has broke and after 7 visits of an engineer they still cant repair it with the same excuse every time they order the wrong part and it cant be replace because of the age of the dryer is only 3 years old . For the money i spend on an insurance i could of buy new one straight away . So all i am getting from this insurance is stress and drying up my close on the radiator .

United Kingdom | 12 February 20228 weeks and still waiting… At time of writing I have been waiting since 13th of December to get my appliance fixed under warranty and am expected to wait 10 weeks from call to repair. I have had my appointment rearranged five times. I have had no call back from the complaint I have logged. The people I speak to on the phones are polite and the engineer who initially attended to diagnose the issue was thorough and knowledgeable. They do generally answer the phones too (which is why I didn’t leave this review two weeks ago). However this does not make up for the fact I’ll be waiting 10 weeks before engineer returns nor the fact I haven’t had any acknowledgment of my complaint nearly 2 weeks after I raised it.

I have had no fridge for the last 3 months as they are still trying to order the right parts after 2 engineers visiting my property. How in this day and age does anyone live without a fridge for 3 months. I have three children under the age of six. I could have just gone out and bought another fridge.

United Kingdom | 25 January 2022The proof of a good insurance company is in its customer services and claims procedures! Uk Warranty failed me on both! Report problem with my cooker in Nov 2021, engineer called Dec 24th( no oven for Xmas), it’s Jan 25th 2022 today and still not resolved. I have had to call 5 times to find out what was happening. Manager in call centre would not speak to me(Dion Armstrong). Customer complaints department can’t be phoned, still waiting for callback. Have spoken to Sarah, Ryan, Lewis and Steph so far! No communication at all from the company!!
