Not for the first time the belt on my tumble dryer broke. Engineer attended and said the dryer was not worth fixing as after several previous repairs carried out by UK Warranty engineers had distorted the frame and the drum was not sitting correctly. He recommended a like for like replacement under UK Warranty's lifetime repair or replace policy. The report was sent in but I heard nothing. After a few day phoned UK Warranty and was told I would get a replacement. After a few days I was offered a model with inferior specifications to my current one (which was still available). UK Warranty want you to use Appliance Direct, their preferred supplier but they do not always have a full range of models/specifications on offer. I rejected this and after 6 weeks of constant phoning I was eventually offered a cash settlement (after threatening to take them to the small claims court for breach of contract). I received very few updates, most calls for information were initiated by me. Staff were sometimes rude. The information and rules changed depending on who you spoke to. Whenever I requested to speak to a manager they always seemed to be either "unavailable" or "in a meeting". When a call back was requested it never happened. All in all it took 2 months to replace an off the shelf tumble dryer. When the cheque eventually arrived (after constant chasing) I had a replacement one delivered within 2 days. UK Warrant get 1 star because Trustpilot do not allow you to leave 0

Reported issues with fridge freezer first week of dec 2017,engineer visited one week later.Parts apparently ordered three appointments booked without my consultation for engineer to visit and replace parts not on one occasion did engineer arrive nor did apology.28012019 fridge freezerfixad lots of apologies and a o gesture of goodwill of £50 no thanks.Pleasebe aware that you will not get a like for like replacement because after trying to kill your stamina through a long waiting procedure all the rules in favour of the company kick in only an aggregate figure for the value of appliance will be paid.SO PLEASEPLEASEDO NOT TAKE OUT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WITH THIS COMPANY.LETS SEE HOW FAST A CO REP GETS ONTO THIS SITE WITH THE PATHETIC APOLOGIES THEY ARE VERY VERY HOLLOW.

I took out a "Lifetime" warranty with UK Warranty-when I purchased a top of the range LG washer/dryer-from Appliances Direct.. They promised either a prompt repair or-if beyond repair within a reasonable timeframe-replacement of the appliance with comparable product.. PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS BEWARE!- DEFINITION OF "PROMPT!" After 26 months light use only-the machine developed bad vibration & sprung leaks.. Called UK Warranty & reported problem...earliest appointment for an engineer to attend was 4 days later.. After examining the machine- a comprehensive list of faulty parts were found - some components having rusted so badly-you could poke holes with your finger! Next day I called the service team & after waiting on hold for ages was told I had to wait for parts pricing. Called them again a few days later..some parts not available will take another week to arrive.. Booked an engineer to complete repair but, after I called again the day before they were due to attend was informed parts still not here-will be another 2 weeks!! No contact from customer service...no date yet to repair my machine & no replacement offered. I'm pretty disgusted with their customer service...not as their website states & certainly not a product I'd recommend...unless your more than happy to wait a month or so for a repair...which may or may not fix the problem... I'm still waiting...& running up a considerable bill at my local launderette!! 😕👎👎
