United Kingdom | 14 November 2021My Washing machine broke down exactly one month to the day outside of its manufacturers warranty. No problem I thought, it's got an extended warranty with UK Warranty Ltd. The problem was, I couldn't get through to them on the phone. I kept on getting a "Your call cannot be completed at this time, please try again later" message. I did try again, repeatedly for a week, with no success. So, I was forced to buy another washing machine locally. Shockingly poor service, the only saving grace was that the extended warranty was included with the washing machine when I bought it.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2021If I could then would get no stars. Awful company to deal with, I've been waiting 3 months to get my washing machine repaired. They are very evasive when I ask them questions (when were the parts ordered? How did one of their staff try to contact me?). I emailed their MD Mr Martin a week ago and I am still awaiting a reply, I suppose the poor customer service comes from the top! Definitely a company to avoid.

United Kingdom | 22 October 2021First of all, I was surprised at the amount of negative feedbacks posted here! My experiences with UK warranty was nothing short of amazing! Background, I bought my Samsung 4k TV about 5 years ago and took the 5 year warranty on offer. The TV was starting to go bad, (dark patches and light bleed on the screen )and I knew I needed a new one. In all honesty, I never trusted any extended warranty companies as I felt they always find a way to not honour agreements but with "UK warranty", I was blown away by how I was treated. I came here to check their reviews before I contacted them and I couldn't see any positive reviews, which surprised me but I decided to contact them anyway to see if they would honour the agreement even though I only had a week left to run on the warranty. I have to say that I was treated with courtesy and everyone I dealt with from uk warranty were professional and polite. Long story short, I was asked to provide the serial number for my TV and pictures of the TV turned on so that they could assess the problem. The engineer I was referred to said the the TV couldn't be repaired. A couple days later, I was informed by UK warranty that my TV couldn't be repaired and that I would get a new TV. I didn't believe them until the TV was delivered a few days ago. Its a shame that people here are saying they did not get a good service etc. For me, it was the most pleasant experience. Keep up the excellent work guys!

United Kingdom | 15 October 2021We have had 4 different repairmen, multiple times each, out for the same appliance in a 10 month period and only 1 of them actually knew what he was doing and was able to complete a repair efficiently. Every other time the repairman and I quote "don't really know what is wrong but I made the error code go away so hopefully that fixes it". Alas less than an hour after leaving the error reappears and uk warranty make us wait another 1-2 weeks to have another technician come out. The do not take any pride in the "quality" of their work or in their customers. In our circumstance the non working appliance has cost us as we have had to pay for an alternate during the periods it wasn't working even though our policy is for repair or replace because as the lovely Jade in "customer services" told me "there is no clause in your policy for the timeframe in which we have to repair it so you are not eligible for a replacement".

United Kingdom | 06 October 2021This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, their service, or should I say lack of is appalling. I have been waiting to resolved an issue with my replaced (eventually) microwave for nearly 4months. Each time I call I am left on hold, cut off, with no call back. When I do get to speak with someone they clearly sound like they do not have a clue, promised a call back which never comes. I have emailed, including the Managing Director with no response whatsoever, but they are still happy to take my money each month, well that will now stop. Avoid at all cost.

United Kingdom | 30 September 2021My kitchen appliance extended manufacturers guarantee ran out in the summer so I did my research (or so I thought) and decided to take out kitchen appliance insurance through Homeserve who I felt were a well known reputable company. What I hadn’t quite understood that when the policy was set up, it’s nothing whatsoever do to with Homeserve and from that point on you need to contact UK warranty direct. A couple of weeks ago my combination oven/microwave broke on a Saturday so I decided to make a claim. No claim line open on weekends so waited until Monday morning. Rang on Monday morning, spoke to Kendall who said she couldn’t book an appointment as she needed to speak to the engineers department to see who was qualified to work on oven/microwaves. Little bit concerning but nevertheless she promised me a phone call back at 10.30am as this department didn’t open until 10am and it was only 9.15am. What company doesn’t answer the phone until 10am. Anyway no phone call back all day and every time I tried to ring, the phone lines said ‘sorry we cannot connect your call and it hung up’. Very frustrating. Tried 30 times throughout the day and failed to get through besides one time. Caller said they needed to transfer my call, and when they did I had to press option 1, 2 or 3. Whichever option was pressed, nothing was transferred and it just kept repeating the message so after a 40 minute wait I had to terminate the call and give up. In desperation I rang Homeserve, spoke to a helpful lady called Rachel, who apologised that even on their internal lines, they could not make contact. I explained that I wanted it dealt with now as a complaint, she said she would get back to me and never heard from her again either or anyone at Homeserve. It really feels like once the policy is sold, the customer service ends right there. Phoned 9am following day, spoke to Keira. Same fob off. Hadn’t got any answer back from engineers and promised me a phone call back. No surprise, never phoned back. Rang again Wednesday, spoke to Lisa who did manage this time to book a repair visit for 10 days later but couldn’t tell me which company it would be and told me that they probably wouldn’t have any parts on them. Explained I was annoyed as no one returns calls. She tried to say that Kiera couldn’t leave a message as I hadn’t a voicemail (another lie) and emailed me instead (no email received). Looking at the reviews on trustpilot, I realised I had made a big mistake using UK warranty and it would probably take weeks or even months to get it resolved. Decided to cut my losses, phoned Neff direct who were very helpful and arranged a repair visit from a qualified NEFF repairer. It cost me £189 for the call out and part but at least it was sorted and I had faith in the company I was dealing with. If anybody is thinking of using UK warranty for kitchen appliance insurance, then please don’t bother. Complete waste of money, and so stressful trying to make a claim.It will literally give you mental health problems trying to deal with this company. I was not prepared to wait 8 weeks to escalate complaint to the ombudsman, who can be without their appliance for this long so just cancelled the policy. AVOID at all costs.

I have had reason to use then twice and each of these call outs has resulted in numerous visits; incorrect reports. Lack of Customer Service and being without my appliance for at least 3-4 weeks on both occasions. I am now resorting to claiming in the Small Claims Court to get retribution. Zero meaningful communication. Generic emails from Dionne Armstrong. Conflicting engineer’s reports total scammers.

I ended up with this policy through a retailer extended warranty, I will always be checking who provides these in future. Over 4 months, no washing machine, no resolution and no compassion. I don't believe in shouting at customer service reps. I have been closer than ever this time, due to utter despair. For months, repair appointments were organised with no one arriving and system updates being blamed. Month 4, I finally got through to someone who offered a replacement, waited another 3 weeks, no contact. Got back in touch and after several attempts, they reluctantly offered a refund and money to get a new machine. It should have been in my bank last week. I won't be holding my breath.

Booked a repair for Washing machine and engineer had a look and been advice that the parts are ordered and will be completed in 24hrs. Been 3 weeks and no record of parts being ordered on system. Calls keep cutting off and also ways advice to contact third party to get an update. Not really my job to contact them. Avoid buying policy with them. I REALLY WANT MY YEAR OF PAYMENT REFUNDED FOR USELESS SERVICE.

United Kingdom | 09 September 2021I contacted UK Warranty in February 2021 as my oven was losing power. 0n the 16th March 2021 an engineer came but was unable to fix the fault. Since then a total of 5 engineers have called the last being on the 8th July 2021, He stated that he was unable to repair the oven and would forward a full report. On 20th August they phoned me and said they will contact me in 72 hours. NO REPLY! On 27th August I phoned UK Warranty who assured me they would contact me by the middle of the next week regarding a replacement oven. NO REPLY! I phoned them on the 2nd of September and they gave me the details of a replacement Blomberg oven which I accepted and said the electrical supplier would contact me in 24 hours with a delivery date. NO REPLY! I then contacted the electrical supplier and asked them if UK Warranty had been in touch with an order for a Blomberg oven. They had NO CONTACT! from UK Warranty. The electrical supplier have the oven in stock and offer following day delivery. I have contacted the CEO on three occasions, once by recorded delivery which he received on 19th August and two emails. NO Reply! I have today (8/9) contacted The Financial Ombudsman and forwarded all the correspondence to them as this is the only way I will hopefully get this resolved. They don't even deserve 1 star.

United Kingdom | 08 September 2021Cooker broke on 5th May 2021, since then i have had 8 scheduled visits on which 7 were cancelled due to no parts, 4 and a half months later they turned up with parts and it still didnt fix my cooker. Now i am told it will need replacing but i have to dispose of the old one at my own cost. Also it wont be replaced with like for like. Wasted 4 days holiday off work ..wouldnt recommend

United Kingdom | 31 August 2021Today I had a problem with my direct debits and spoke to a lovely lady called Blane. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I got my issues sorted very quickly. I’ve been reading the other reviews on here and am quite surprised because I was very impressed with my experience. I just hope that if I ever need to make a claim I will have the same impressive experience.
