United Kingdom | 21 March 2020The TV I purchased from Appliances Direct was faulty and I claimed due to the warranty expiring. I have been calling this company for over 5 weeks now and yesterday my patience ran out ( of which I have a great deal of and consider myself very fair). The sarcasm (from the sweet voice) of Rebecca made my blood boil. I was given her manager's name for a call back but through the course of the conversation I realised she was having an ongoing communication with her manager throughout the call. Having read these reviews has somewhat made me feel slightly better knowing I'm not the only one and the feeling of paranoia has been lifted. The constant putting off for "48 (working) hours" and the "up to 5 working days" for parts has made this the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Customer service is disgraceful and this is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a bad review.

United Kingdom | 09 March 2020Purchased a Hisense Fridge from Very.co.uk.The door handle had a crack at the side so I decided to call the warranty company for a new part. The fridge came with a two year Warranty and was less than a year old. After 30 to 40 minutes waiting on the phone I was told a part would be dispatched and sent to my Home address. Its now nearly six weeks and after several phone calls to UK Warranty I have no replacement door handle.Today I have emailed the MD Mr Neil Martin for a response but I not expecting a reply.

United Kingdom | 11 February 2020I had UKwarranty lifetime cover on a dishwasher that I bought from Debenhams. It has now been nearly 2 months since I reported a breakdown and I am no nearer getting a repair or replacement, I think. I say I think because this company has the worst customer service/communication I have ever been unfortunate to deal with. I have even took to emailing the MD but he clearly doesnt care enough to reply so passed my details to the UK Account Manager. She then asked for further details which I sent straight across and now, 5 days later have not heard a word from her. All in all, it seems this lack of customer service and caring comes from the top of the company. I will never use them again and recommend to others to completely avoid them.

United Kingdom | 24 January 2020Bad service and customer service. Not been given the replacement oven I was originally told I could have and now they are saying I wasn't told I could have it. Complaints department are lying so I've now had to request transcripts of conversations. Been without an oven for over 2 weeks now!

United Kingdom | 01 January 2020Started off ok but then never had to make a claim - now they seem to enjoy taking direct debits from old policies and renewed policies for the same appliance. Despite phone calls (no e-mail address for warrantyonline.co.uk a sub, subsidiary of UK Warranty) there has been no action taken. Had to refer to DD guarantee scheme via my bank. I could never trust this company from now on so if I were you I would cancel your policy and look elsewhere.

United Kingdom | 29 October 2019DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY WARRANTIES. I BOUGHT A COOKER FOR MY DISABLED SON WHO IS UNWELL AND FINDS LIFE CHALLENGING AND STRESSFUL . HIS COOKER WENT WRONG AFTER A YEAR. WHILST STILL UNDER MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY FOR ANOTHER YEAR AND AN EXTENDED WARRANTY BOUGHT FROM THIS BUNCH OF COWBOYS. I REPORTED MY SONS BOTTOM OVEN NOT HEATING UP OVER 2 WEEKS AGO. AN ENGINEER CAME OUT ON THE 17TH OF OCTOBER. THE ENGINEER PHOTOGRAPHED THE ELEMENT AND LEFT SAYING HEAD OFFICE WOULD BE IN TOUCH. SINCE WE HAD HEARD NOTHING EITHER BY PHONE OR EMAIL I RANG APPLIANCE DIRECT ON FRIDAY OF LAST WEEK. THE LADY KEPT ME ON HOLD FOR AGES WHILST SHE SPOKE TO THEIR WARRANTY DEPARTMENT, APPARENTLY UK WARRANTIES IS THEIR WARRANTY DEPARTMENT. AFTER 15 MINUTES THE CALL HANDLER FOR APPLIANCE DIRECT CAME BACK AND TOLD ME THAT THE COOKER WAS BEING REPLACED LIKE FOR LIKE AS IT WAS BEYOND ECONOMIC REPAIR. AFTER I REITERATED HOW SERIOUS MY SONS DISABILITIES WERE I WAS ASSURED THAT THE REPLACEMENT DEPARTMENT WOULD DEFINATELY PHONE ME ON MONDAY TO ARRANGE DELIVERY OF SAID REPLACEMENT COOKER. GUESS WHAT NO PHONECALL ALL DAY YESTERDAY SO I WAITED UNTIL 3 O'CLOCK TODAY. I RANG AT 3.15PM TO APPLIANCE DIRECT TO BE TOLD THAT THE REPLACEMENT DEPARTMENT HAD EMAIL THEIR SUPPLIER TO GET A PRICE FOR THE COOKER AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEIR REPLY. THEY TELL ME THEY HAVE MARKED THIS CASE URGENT. I WONDER IF THIS IS THE SAME URGENT THAT THEY USED ON THE 17TH OF OCTOBER AND THEN AGAIN LAST FRIDAY AND AGAIN YESTERDAY AND TODAY. IS IT FAIR THAT A DISABLED VUNERABLE MAN CANNOT USE HIS COOKER!! HE HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO SO FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS. CAN YOU IMAGINE BEING IN HIS SITUATION. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY. DISGUSTING SERVICE.WE WAIT TO SEE IF THIS REVIEW WILL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. MAYBE WATCHDOG ON THE TV IS THE ANSWER?

United Kingdom | 25 October 2019took nearly 2 weeks of calling to even get to speak to anyone to book a repair for a faulty Luxor TV. Finally get it reported and advised they will speak to engineers and call back later that day. No Call. Or the next day. 2 more days and 2 more chase emails later i get a reply saying passed to local repair centre and they would contact me. 4 days now and no call. Tried to phone the local centre and BT message saying not possible to connect call. Sent email, no reply. Giving it 1 week from today before reporting to trading standards as already paid for warranty up front when brought TV! If no luck there it will be small claims court :@>

United Kingdom | 03 October 2019Do not bother with the warranty this hapless bunch of clowns offer. It's not worth the paper it's printed on. I have been waiting since May 2019 (it's now the first week of October 2019) for them to fix my dishwasher. I have received no end of excuses why my dishwasher remains in a state of disrepair, and this is after paying for a six year warranty. You will never encounter a less professional, inept, shower of clowns in your life.

United Kingdom | 03 October 20192 months since repair logged, no repair yet! My mother logged the repair and was told she had to run an on the phone diagnostic due to the age of the machine. So this we did and were told it didn't need one by the manufacturer so back to UKWarranty to advise them and they send an engineer a week later one attends and advise that the part is need so its ordered and arrives at my home. An engineer follows to fit the part however a seal is now needed and so the repair cannot take place. So 7 working days are needed for this seal, my mother asks me to get involved as she can't sit on the phone for 20 mins just to get through then wait another 20 mins for the customer rep to pull up the details call the engineer all the while we are holding do they not realise 'everyone works' all of this is being done in our breaks and when we're supposed to be eating lunch or working? So the seal, that is supposed to have been ordered was not ordered which I found out after chasing them. So the seal is now ordered and another 7 days are added. When I call to enquire as to whether the part is in and engineer called and repair date booked (as no-one calls you back), I find out yet another seal is now needed I am not amused. One must question the so-called managers here, when I question this the customer service manager questions my question when it is clear to anyone that there is nothing less than incompetence to answer for this mistake nothing more. How is it acceptable and how is it that this or any manager in that team deems the amount of time spent on this repair is normal unless this is normal and incompetence is merely normal for UKWarranty which i am learning fast. So now I wait for this part to arrive this Friday, which is, yes folks an additional 7 days no, not calendar days. No call has been made to advise me of a date / time I guess I will again have to call them! I have logged a complaint with their warranty team on Tuesday and await a call from their underwriters and I still wait for that call which will miraculously happen once the repair has been completed I'm sure. Please note that while these 2 months are turning into 3 months, my mother who is nearly 70 is taking bags of washing for the 7 person household on a weekly basis to the local launderette and forking out a small fortune in washing and drying clothes which should have been in the comfort of her home. have asked for compensation to pay for this cost, only to e told it will only be looked at when the repair has been completed. To be honest, if it is repaired it will be a small miracle. If they cannot fix why do they not replace it, why, as its more costly for them of course and easier to let the customer struggle. Why do we have insurance so that we will always have a working appliance and the washing is one of the most important ones in our kitchens. I implore you not to touch UKWarranty this is the opposite of insurance, stress free no simply stressful.

United Kingdom | 23 September 2019Terrible experience. Bought range cooker from Appliances Direct with extended warranty from UK Warranty. Oven door broke after about a year. It took them 2 months and 3 cancelled repair visits (cancelled by txt message at 7 am on the day) to finally say they are unable to repair it and they will offer me ‘free’ replacement. Only that ‘free’ meant a cooker from much inferior range we have. To get the same model they asked me to pay over £300! I had the door repaired by local tradesman fur £35 in 20 minutes. They were informed. Only thing was that it invalidated my policy of which I found out when I called them 6 months later when another part of the oven failed. They did still charge me for 6 months of warrantee cover which now they are refusing to pay me back although they are sorry that I was not informed sooner. If it would happen in 3 years time I would be still paying them for non-cover. Avoid at all cost.

United Kingdom | 10 September 2019No worth a 1 star Bought a cooker with Appliance direct and the 3 year warranty extension , after 3 visit for each repair ( wrong hinges all the time) I complain to uk general insurance which manage to have my appliance write off and I am suppose to receive a replacement or I can upgrade . That was last week since they told me they will call back to take the new order and upgrade my cooker, and still no call . Every time I call I get a different message, customer service do not care and are unapologetic, this is a nightmare company .No manager available to talk to and they said you will get a call back in the next 48 hrs ..... no call back what so ever .it is not right that company like that can get away with it ,and I will report them

United Kingdom | 31 July 2019Avoid this company, I used them because I was given an extended warranty with a Bloomberg product. When you claim a very an annoying 0800 repair man will be called out. Most times they will order the wrong part and moan about how difficult the job is. You would think they had never seen a built in appliance before . You might as well ask a random stranger in the street to repair it.If I ever buy a new appliance again, I will ensure the manufacture doesn’t use Uk warranties who are all part of this organisation. I suggest people read all the reviews regarding the 0800 repairs and uk warranties . They are really are poor, and you have to wonder how they stay in business.

United Kingdom | 12 July 2019UK Warranty have been awful in dealing with the issues I have with my CDA cooker. Job reference 3536363. 5 engineer visits and 5 days off work and still trying to fix the same issue. The engineers that have visited have stated nothing more can be done as all possible issues have been fixed but I still have an oven that leaks condensation while cooking onto my cupboards causing them to warp. Uk warranty will not replace the oven as I apparently have a repair only warranty ( which was not made clear when I took it out when I bought the cooker ). I do have a parts warranty with CDA but the two don’t tie up!! Today another engineer visit from 0800 Repair but no replacement doors as expected even though the lady I spoke to on 1/7 at UK Warranty assured me they would be with the engineer. Whenever I have called to discuss my issues no one in the Management team would want to talk to me and calls are not returned even though I have made it clear I have a complaint. I would like to say that all the Engineers that have visited us have been wonderful especially Steve from 0800 Repair. In fact I feel sorry for these guys as they are trying to do a good job for the client but the service that UK warranty are offering is reflecting badly on them. I will not take out another warranty with UK warranty and would suggest that companies think twice before working with them as their poor customer service reflects badly on them.
