THen they refuse to cover because after you purchase manufacturer recalled them from a safety issue and switched. When tried discussing with them just point blank refused. Bad enough that might as well be a scam company

United Kingdom | 22 January 2022They are okay till you need to claim then palm you off, after reading these reviews and having no response from any emails and not having a written response to my complaint within 5 days as per T&C’s I will wait out my 8 weeks for the Ombudsman.

United Kingdom | 17 January 2022Had appliance insurance and the contact centre is only open Monday to Friday which is really useful when something breaks down on a Friday evening and when I called on Monday to report an issue the systems were down and they could not take any claims nor could they register a complaint. Absolute waste of time.

United Kingdom | 04 January 2022I would leave zero stars were it an option. Absolutely awful service from an awful company. Poorly trained staff, terrible communication, use them at your peril. Delays in procurement of simple spare parts were unexplained. Their processes are not monitored therefore we received calls from technicians on two occasions informing us that the parts had not been provided as someone else had not signed them off. Truly pathetic.

I have been with them for 5 years (accidentally) now when I am trying to contact them even their phone line do not have any right options. I don't even want to spend time in explaining here. How these companies exists even after providing such appalling service.

United Kingdom | 22 December 2021Not ideal all of the agents I have spoke to are clearly hiding the fact that lisa from sales miss sold me a policy even though my appliance was broke and said it was fine it’s absolutely appalling the fact that she has took my bank details over the phone knowing this I’m disgusting in the business and admin hung up the phone a lot while trying to get through without even answering disgusting company and customer service

United Kingdom | 16 December 2021I've taken appliance protection. My tumble dryer failed and requested engineer out to fix it who arrives after 4 weeks advise that need parts replacing. Another 4 weeks gone decision is to replace the dryer but I can't reach your replacement as well as they don't reach me and I don't know when it get replaced. Its been 8weeks and quality of service is very poor.

United Kingdom | 14 December 2021Had an insurance policy with them, which I think was through AO when we bought the tumble drier. I lived with my Nan and purchased her house for context but the insurance for the tumble drier was in her name. All I wanted to do was change it over into my name when she passed away - which was so simple with EVERY OTHER supplier I contacted once she had passed. It was so hard to get through to them and when I did they asked me to manually pay it, which was fine and I did right away, they then told me it would be reinstated. No contact from them for over a month and the DD hadn't come out so I called up to check, they said it hadn't been reinstated so I had to manually pay it once again. Again, a further month passed no money had been taken so I contacted them again frustrated to ask if this was reinstated, no response. Another manual payment. Contacted again only to be told it was finally "reinstated" but as I had missed the payment cut off for next month (which makes no sense if it had been reinstated) I would have to pay manually again next month and the DD would start from the following month in my name. I told them I was sick of faffing around for the sake of £5 a month and that I wouldn't be manually paying next month, the DD either started or didn't and I would be taking my insurance out elsewhere. Low and behold nothing came out so I've gone elsewhere. How hard is it to change a name and details on a policy for the same address and same product?!

United Kingdom | 09 December 2021This company (?) seems to use many boastful words to describe itself in its mission statement but they do not seem to know what they mean. “Service is at the core of our business and we won’t allow you to expect anything less than first class. We know that to become the warranty provider of choice our service standards must both meet and exceed the standards you provide to your customers.” Appalling is not sufficient to describe the poor service from this outfit masquerading as a company. The girls who answer your queries give the impression that things are getting done but you will find when nothing materializes you will get further promises that they also do not keep. Emails are a waste of time as no-one ever responds. My advice would be as soon as they break a rule viz. not acknowledging a written request or breaking a verbal promise, immediately send in a written letter of complaint by return because this is the point where the clock starts ticking for your problem to be passed over to the Financial Ombudsmen (8 weeks) After 2 months of frustration I spoke to the FO who was very helpful and I was told they have extensive powers including compensation should they decide it is warranted. They advised that I should send in one email mentioning in it that I was writing it under their guidance. Amazingly it certainly produced a response and an engineer promptly came from nowhere and wrote the appliance off. I feel a little sorry for those who wax lyrical over the courteous and efficient manner with which this company (?) takes money from them but there is a high probability they will suffer the same fate, if they have to make a claim, in a similar manner as the vast majority of complainants listed here. When taking out any extended warranty from any company, check to see who is underwriting it.

United Kingdom | 08 December 2021UK Warranty eventually replaced the appliance, but this took too long and cost so much of our time: Our NEFF oven malfunctioned after three years and in fairness UK warranty eventually did replace the item with a new product of equal quality, which is great. However, this took nearly 6 weeks to resolve and not having a working oven as a family and in winter is bad. I wish UK Warranty communicated more clearly and proactively and that it had been easier to get through to them without being in phone queues for extended periods. At various points we couldn't but think that they tried to avoid fulfilling their contract with us.

United Kingdom | 29 November 2021So took out insurance for my TV because as most I cannot just afford to buy another if mine breaks! Well mine broke and I tried to phone ukwarranty and they don't answer the phone for new claims and if you press another number you speak to someone and they say I'll put you through and they either hang straight up or put you in a never ending loop where your asked to put the original phone menu choices in (which their robot doesn't recognise and then it hangs up on you!) This company is a disgusting sham and a scam. Read the rest of the reviews save your money and go to someone who doesn't have the sh1ttiest reviews on every site possible! Everyone says the same "if I could give zero I would" I have contacted the ombudsman and I have started to raise awareness on Twitter of this awful scam. Thanks to the awful company my kids have no TV watch over Christmas! May the CEO be infested with the fleas of a thousand camels and his arms be too short to scratch - frankly he deserves worse!

United Kingdom | 26 November 2021We took cover out on approx 6 appliances a few months ago. This was purchased through HomeServe. Last month I removed my fridge/freezer and then for some reason my direct debit wasn't taken this month. I called up and they advised it was pending and would come out soon. A week later it still hadn't come out and they advised they would speak to their finance team and would come back to me. A week later still no answer so called again - only to be told it looked my policy may be cancelled!? I asked for a manager call back - no call back in 2 days. I subsequently emailed the MD for UK Warranty, Neil Martin and as no reply emailed the MD for parent group Pacifica, Kevin Brown. I'm absolutely astounded that I've received no reply from anyone at all. Given the fact this page has been claimed by the company, yet no reviews have been responded to speaks volumes for this company. This clearly comes from the top down and I think both Neil and Kevin may need a lesson in customer service. Cancelling policy in morning and whilst more expensive, switching to Domestic and General.

United Kingdom | 20 November 2021I wish I could give 0 stars. Seriously disappointed with uk warranty.com. Rang the service centre to arrange repair of my Lamona integrated dishwasher which wasn’t completing a wash cycle and not draining. Typically my appliance guarantee had expired so I signed up to a care plan to enable an engineer to come out and repair. First visit (luckily son at home from college) apparently it was a loose screw preventing the door closing completely. So relieved it was such a simple fix! No such luck….still not completing a cycle even when door is opened every 2 minutes to continue the cycle. Second visit (day off work) - engineer more thorough. Says that because the programs used are usually short ones the water doesn’t get hot enough to dissolve grease and scum and it blocks the pump. Made sense I suppose but when he left advised I run a self clean which is the hottest cycle. Bought some Finish cleaner that day and excitedly set the self clean cycle and went to work. When I returned from work the dishwasher had stopped halfway through the clean, turned off the digital display which I didnt realise until I opened it to find the base full of water. Smelt great tho….thanks Finish. Yet another call to the call centre who couldn’t do anything until the engineer report came in about 24-48 hours after the visit. Called the call centre again to arrange for another engineer (third time lucky). Requested contact details for a complaints department and told there isnt one for my appliance. Engineer arrives ( my daughter came to the house as I can’t take more time off) and as requested the engineer rang me to explain what’s happening. Same guy as second visit and told me he had relocated the pump and unblocked a small pipe?. He had left the dishwasher on a wash cycle and wanted me to run another when I got home.please contact him before 7pm to update him then he would close the job. I bet you can guess the rest. Yep, the dishwasher is not competing the cycle and got lovely clean water in the base. Btw all filters were cleaned and a plumber checked the drainage before we bothered to call anyone. I have left the engineer a voicemail and a text message and still not heard anything. Is it possible for a engineer to stay with an appliance while it’s running to check it’s working correctly? I know the cycles can be long but perhaps come back after another visit locally, sit in the van, go for lunch, whatever it is, just stay to see my dishwasher not working. Do your job. Surely that’s what I’m paying for? I feel that I’m on an ride to nowhere, ground hog day, call centre-engineer-disappointment etc. Not sure what else to do apart from keep doing the same. I really wish I had contacted an independent repair company but wanted to check the guarantee with lamona and then got sucked into their repair scheme with uk warranty.

United Kingdom | 19 November 2021very poor service. its been 1.5 month and they cant fix my washing machine. below is the timeline Engineer visited the property and told me some parts need to be ordered. Engineer arrive with parts and spend 3 hours. After that he told me that some parts still missing. Engineer arrive came again with another part and this time spend 2 hours and ended by saying still the seal cable is missing. Engineer visited again and left the property by saying everything is fixed but when we try to use it, it was not runingg at all. Engineer arrive and checked and left the property by saying the door locked needs to be replaced. Engineer again arrived changing the lock and saying still a part needed. when spoke to them over the phone they still cant give me an assurity when will it be fixed. so now i have to wait for another month for another engineer to visit. stay away from this company.

United Kingdom | 18 November 2021My family have been without a washing for almost 5 months now. Initially tried to fix my old washing machine explaining it was the water pump which was faulty. Engineer came round after re arranging appointment for the second time. Eventually came to the conclusion that a replacement washing machine is required. After numerous phone calls i was asked to give a list of washing machines I would be happy with. That was over two months ago. Over the last month I have been ringing every few days trying to get through to make an upgrade payment for the washing machine I want. Yet again I am left at the other end of the phone waiting to speak to a replacement department which never seems to answer the phone. I highly recommend not using this company
