I wish I'd read the reviews before booking, as I had exactly the same experience as many people here. You aren't told when booking that on top of the price you've already paid you then have to pay carpark charges (Heathrow) for driving in and out of the pick up/drop off area - an additional £15. This isn't stated anywhere in the booking confirmation, even though the company insist it is, and is only printed on the piece of paper they give you once you hand the car over. The confirmation email tells you to call in advance of arrival so a driver is waiting to collect/drop off the car. You call a mobile number and there are no pleasantries, you could be calling anyone. Despite calling in advance they weren't there and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for them. On collection I was made to pay additional fees before they would return the car. They'd just thrown the used car park ticket in the footwell. We were amazed we even got our car back, in one piece. Rude, liars, scammers. Avoid!

I booked through the Mobit Airport Car Parking website for The Timber Yard Airport Car Park & Ride in Essex, for airport transfer via shuttle bus to Stansted Airport on 02/09/24 to 07/09/24. The Timber Yard Park & Ride is listed on the Mobit Airport Car Parking website. My confirmation email had a heading of Mobit Airport Car Parking. Upon return to U.K., I complained to Mobit about my experience with Timber Yard Parking, but Mobit tried to claim they’re just the booking agents & don’t personally move the vehicles themselves! I KNOW THAT! They treated me like I’m stupid. I have emailed MOBIT twice to complain & numerous chats online & even rung them on their contact number, but these 2 companies aren’t professional at all. A man answered me very casually & told me AGAIN, they’re just the booking agents, I asked him to listen to my complaints, whereby he ended the conversation by stating he would tell his manager & cut me off! Needless to say, I haven’t heard back! The Timber Yard Airport Car Park is in the Essex countryside & at 3.30am in pitch black darkness, not easy to find AT ALL! On my confirmation email, it just stated Garden Centre, Epping Road, North Weald, Essex, CM16 6RZ. My satnav said I’d “arrived at my destination” but I was in the middle of nowhere! I’d had to ring 30 minutes before arrival at the car park. But had to ring back because I couldn’t find the garden centre, no name of the Garden Centre was mentioned in my confirmation! I’d passed 2 garden centres almost opposite each other, but which one was it?! Man said it’s Ashlyn Garden Centre, so I turned around, but it’s very difficult to find when closed, in darkness & no sign stating The Timber Yard Airport Parking. It’s behind the garden centre, down a long bumpy dirt track & in a kind of field. There was a barrier but no lined parking bays or security lighting, just total darkness. Not secure enough. Man took our details & told me where to park amongst other cars there. We had to load our luggage into an older type 6 seater minibus & not a 4 seater shuttle as stated in the confirmation! Confirmation stated the need to pay £10 cash per car to the driver before leaving the car park & on return for the airport levy charges. But on arrival, the man had a hand held card machine & said it was £15 payable now for the outbound & return journeys. No need to have got cash out the atm! Cheaper though so a bonus. Confirmation said £5 fee to keep car keys with you, but man said to take car keys with you! Lots of cars were arriving, only 1 man taking details, payments & showing you where to park! We waited for over 35 minutes for the minibus to be filled with 6 passengers. 2 other passengers were complaining they were going to miss their flight! We were told by RyanAir the day before, that due to security staff shortages we need to arrive at Stansted airport 3 hours before flight. It takes about 20 minutes usually to board an airport shuttle bus & leave for airport! We kept telling this man that we needed to go, but he kept saying “ok”, nothing happened & he ignored us after a while. Eventually a driver got in who was non-communicative, atmosphere was silent & very tense. The employees were either Eastern European/Russian, but he could’ve been pleasant, even if he didn’t speak much English! He drove very fast & took us about 35 minutes to get to the airport because the car park was so far away! Website said about 20 minutes to Stansted Airport! Return flight was delayed. I messaged & rung the driver as told to do & driver very pleasant this time & said he’d wait for us as long as he could. Just as we were coming through the nothing to declare customs channel, an alarm went off & security shut the gate, I rang back & told him & he’d got 2 other passengers by then & he asked them if they would wait 2 minutes more, but they wouldn’t, so I said ok, go. Driver apologised & said he’d be back in 25 minutes. 2 minutes later we were waiting at the pick up point, so wished the driver had made these other passengers wait as we were very tired & we had to wait for the minibus to be filled on the outbound journey! 35 minutes later driver arrives but couldn’t find him easily, it was a 4 x 4 car this time, very nice but he’d 2 other passengers in the car & so a bit cramped. Took another 35 minutes back to the car park. On return to my car at 11.30pm I find my car absolutely filthy, covered in some dark dirt, I took 26 photos of my car, I was furious. I’d had my car valeted 2 days prior to the holiday! We could smell muck had been spread over the hedge from where my car was parked, but couldn’t see a field before or then, as it was dark! I complained the next day as too tired then. I want compensation to get car washed/waxed again. Timber Yard Airport Park never ring back, given manager’s name, number & email, but he pretended it’s not him!

Don't book with Mobit airport parking. Don't trust this company. Those people are liars. They did not come on time to picked up and drop off the car and i almost missed my flight. when i come back they did not come to drop a car and demanded more money to release the car. When I called them they did not pick up phone and they did pick up the phone call they told us lots of excuses. In my case I booked two times this year with this company. First time I nearly missed my flight. The second time they dropped the car after 4 hour after the flight had landed and demand for £20 to release the car. Mobit airport parking and the service provider blamed each other when you complained.

My wife and I had a really bad experience using Mobit to book a meet and greet service. Having landed late at Stansted airport we told the no one would meet us and we had to drive miles away from the Airport to collect our car. This required us to pay a higher than normal taxi fee to get to the place our car was parked. The taxi driver took us to a place in the middle of nowhere which was dark with no lights and it we had difficulty locating our car. It was extremely unsettling and not the meet and greet service we had paid for!! I hope that Mobit care about their customers and offer a refund and will post another review if the outcome is satisfactory.

Booked for Heathrow T3 was not told that the cost did not include the parking tickets to get in to and out of the short stay car park so additional £15 on top of amount charged. Complained to Lion Parking totally ignored Mobit just kept saying you need to pay the ticket price yet they dont state that anywhere in their paperwork. I would not book with them again.

Wow! I'm here. Wait for my car at Gatwick after waiting 50 mins already. I thought I would check the reviews as this is not normal. 🤬 Clearly, the company has a bad reputation for not delivering on time or in some cases not at all. Driver was 20 mins for drop off and now I’ve been waiting for over 50 mins for pick up. Will never use this company again and regret booking them.

Do not book with this company. They are complete scammers. We booked meet and greet for 2 cars at Gatwick. After returning from our trip we were advised at the exit barrier by Gatwick staff that neither car had left the short stay car park since dropping off the cars 2 weeks prior and were left to pay £900 in order to leave the car park. They have denied this however Gatwick have provided evidence. I have tried contacting them since the collection date but nobody answers the phone. Have reported to Trading standards and ActionFraud.

Airport drop off was fine. All worked as expected. The return collection was totally bad. Firstly rang the number on the email as they tell us and got voice mail says oops mailbox full. Tried this several times and same response. I'm the end called alternative London number who must have called mobit who called me shouting why we did not call on the mobile number. There was no mobile number given on email or at car drop off. First call was at 21:30 they called me back about 21:50. Called them several times as they said car will be there in 20 mins. Finally car turned up at about midnight. The driver refused to accept any responsibility and said he was only the driver. I would urge you not to use this company as the customer service is non-existant.

On collection (15/2/24) my car was returned covered in mud. Ask the the guy why and where the car was parked, he ran off like a scalded cat. It was meet and greet, they do not wear uniforms, I just handed my car to them, no signature, no paperwork, all looks so suspicious. By the way customer must pay the ticket at terminal 3 short stay (£15). This is where they meet you... avoid.

ZERO STARS My phone and money upon return of my car was missing. It was well hidden but my car was rifled through.The staff are shifty and obviously thieving from every car possible. It was returned filthy dirty with the smell of weed and a dirty syringe lobbed in the back! What the F GUYS! We called upon landing 8 times!only to keep being cut off. When we eventually got through we were palmed off with thete is no booking for us with that car.... come on..... I have the booking ref and confirmation and also if there's no booking why take my payment and take delivery of my car at drop off..... you must think I'm so bloody stupid! Your business should be shut down.... your owner/ boss needs to kick you all out of this country and get HONEST people in working for him. Please folks avoid these immigrant shoddy cowboys.... Syringes..... ffs! What if people have kids to go in the back? We have had to get our car medically cleaned because of this..... I WILL NEVER TRUST FOREIGNERS EVER AGAIN. DONT TRY AND SUPRESS A WOMAN AND SHOUT AT ME EITHER MATE.... ITS NOT HOW ITS DONE HERE! THE COPS HAVE BEEN INFORMED YOU THIEVING BAS#ARDS!

Drug abuse and needles in my car, what can I say, I called as they asked 30 mins before pick up and no answer, tried again numerous times eventually they picked the phone up, I gave the car details, I was told 30 mins 60 mins later no car, so I called them and they told me they do not have the details of the booking, I explained we had a the booking email with all details confirmed, the car turns up 2 hours later, once we get home we find used needels in the back of the car when I called to explain how bad this the getleman said OK, please just get rid of them, GUYS PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE DRUG USERS AND THEIVES READ OTHER REVIEWS, I KNOW THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT ENGLISH PEOPLE THEY ARE THIEVES AND DRUG DEALERS, LIARS.

Would give zero stars if I could! Waited for ages for a minibus to take us to Gatwick once we finally found the car park, upon return I phoned when coming through baggage reclaim to let them know we needed picking up, we stood outside in the storm by premier inn for nearly an hour with 4 children when we was told the driver was 20 minutes away, got back to the car, it had the wheel lock taken off and had been moved, there was a lighter in the passenger footwell yet I don’t smoke! They also STOLE MY APPLEWATCH OUT OF MY GLOVE BOX, when I called to complain he LAUGHED AT ME!!! Don’t waste your money, there’s also other costs we didn’t know about until we had booked, just pay that extra bit to go with a proper company instead of these low life *!>#’s

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Rubbish from start to finish. The yard is well outside the airport and incredibly difficult to find, other users on the bus also found this, it doesn't help with the only sign outside is obscured by wheelie bins. The shuttle buses are a dirty mess. On one the tailgate didn't work so the driver asked me to hold it up while he loaded our suitcase. The second driver was plain rude. Your car is held in a what looks like a gypsy living camp. My car did 6 miles whilst I was away, considering how squeezed in the cars are I thought 6 metres would be a lot!. I and others had an hour to wait for pickup. Whatever you might save in money is more than lost by the inconvenience and poor service. Use Gatwick long term car park, its very good.

I recently booked a parking spot with Mobit Airport Parking, and I cannot express how disappointed I am with their service. The entire experience was a complete letdown from start to finish. First and foremost, I realized I had made a mistake almost immediately after booking and requested a cancellation within just 5 minutes of making the reservation. Little did I know that this seemingly simple request would turn into a 15-day ordeal. I had to chase them multiple times to follow up on my refund, and that is simply unacceptable. It's evident that their customer service is seriously lacking. To make matters worse, Mobit Airport Parking decided to charge me a ridiculous £15 for "admin fees." I wasn't informed of this charge when I called to cancel my booking. Had I known about this fee, I would have tried to amend my booking rather than cancel it outright. The lack of transparency in their pricing is deceitful and unfair. Furthermore, they conveniently fail to disclose that their parking facility is located quite far from the airport. On top of that, there's no shuttle service to the airport, so you're left waiting for their service to take you there. To add insult to injury, they charge an additional £10 for entrance and exit fees for their driver, which feels like a hidden cost that you only discover later. I deeply regret not checking their Trustpilot reviews before making my reservation. Mobit Airport Parking certainly deserves the negative feedback they receive, and I wholeheartedly concur. This experience has been a total nightmare, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before booking with them. They are simply not worth the trouble, time, or money.

My car came back filthy dirty full of mud inside and out also one of my tyres came back with 2 screws in which caused a slow puncture which I had to repair. Although I informed the company before I travelled I would be a day late coming back from holiday which I agreed to pay an additional £20 they used this as an excuse to leave me waiting for 50 minutes to return my car I use meet and greet at least 5 times a year but will never use this company again

Do not book with this company even if it's the cheaper option. They demand £5 cash per person upon drop-off. They were 40 mins late picking us up from the airport. When we eventually got there after a bumpy ride, it stunk of weed. They seemed to be confused as to where our car keys were, then eventually worked out they were in the car.

No bus for 45mins when catching an early am flight….Long wait at arrivals for a bus that never turned up and without a call by the driver to give his whereabouts..ended up with a £30 taxi ride ….Arrived at the parking only to find our car had been moved to another location without any conversation in regard this…more waiting….finally 2.5hrs after arriving we were handed our car….absolutely disgusted with the way this operation works .

I had to wait over one and a half hours at Gatwick North Terminal for my car to be returned to me after my return to the UK. After my first call to them, I received a call from them asking me to send my confirmation as they couldn’t find my booking. Even after I did this, they couldn’t find my car. It took several phone calls ( by me) before it arrive at nearly 1am in the morning. The car arrived with no explanation or apology and was left in the middle of the lane and the ticket to exit was handed to me. The driver then walked off - meanwhile my car was being beeped as it was blocking other drivers and I was shouted at by the driver behind. Very unpleasant and worrying experience after a long flight. Will not be using this outfit again.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Website looks genuine but a scam company. Parking hardly exists all for a tiny bit of brown land with some caravans and a few cars. Wouldn't answer calls. On arrivimg, Police were dealing with other disgruntled customers who had turned up expecting to be able to park their cars to go on holiday. Didn't reply to emails. Spoke to one poor guy who had actually been parked and he'd had to get a taxi from the airport when they had failed to collect him and his family from the airport and then had been waiting 6 hours for his keys to no avail. Stories of cars being damaged, filthy, joy-ridden and even stolen. We drove away and parked in the airport on stay to great expense. Just fortunate that we had the time before the fight to do so. Avoid at all costs!!!!
